Sophisticat Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Well then, shall I christen thee Nedel the Great the 1st? You can start a dynasty, a legend of your own like the great Gemini has left in his wake. :3
kirbster Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Oh, how the mighty have fallen. ;_; Where art thou, O Sophisticat of glories past? Still inside you somewhere! You just have to... you know... actually play the game lol.
Nedel_3773 Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I lost the game. @Sophisticat: I'd feel bad about that. I like being under the radar =/
Sophisticat Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Blood-Gemini hasn't been active recently, from what I've been told (not since CS2 IIRC). I was mostly confused at the MK II part, but now that I think about it, there is this game called Hyperdimension Neptunia MK II that's coming out soon and is supposed to be the sequel of the MK II-less version. I guess it makes sense now. Oh lol, I get it. "MK II" doesn't mean anything other than "superior version of the preceding awesome version". It's a tongue-in-cheek device. Still inside you somewhere! You just have to... you know... actually play the game lol. I don't even play this game! For real, I'd love to play more, but I'm devoting all my time to something far more important right now. Once that stabilizes, I expect my Haku to make an impressive comeback.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 I'd feel bad about that. I like being under the radar =/ Don't get streamed, don't play in tournaments.
Nedel_3773 Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Albeit I like being under the radar, I couldn't live with myself if I didn't go to tournaments. Streaming is cool and reactions like after last weekend are awesome, which is a bit why I like being unknown. Gives out more impact. I just don't like/don't feel comfortable being looked up to, as I believe there's still much for me to learn and other players that are much better than me.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted February 11, 2012 Author Posted February 11, 2012 Don't give a fuck and just do you. You'll fuck up if you think about it too hard. Just don't and continue what you're doing, and keep in mind more people will just keep coming for your throat Afro Samurai style. That's all.

Sophisticat Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 What the hell's going on in this thread? C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!
Zeero Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) what should i do to make it the other way around, sir? come to toronto and play me until you get it lol. My carl is ass but its like every other scummy carl so. Honestly, if a carl tries to mix you up on block (5b blocked -> iad j2c) its all punishable, you just gotta know how. can't punish a mixup from hitstun though (but only trolls like me give up 4k to do another mixup that does 4k lol) I can't even beat deadliest if I tried. <--- too good There was recently a carl mixup tutorial that covers a lot of mixups that everybody uses, you should watch that and rape them for it. Honestly I give this matchup 5-5 or maybe 5.5-4.5 in Carl's favour, but only because Carl has some pretty scummy shit thats Tager specific, but in a neutral game its pretty even (kill nirvana more), carl has shitty defensive options against gadget mixup, carl can't really get in or get away (airdash = free punish, every time, dash = slow), and on offense, tager is good against carl (if carl does something like 5c 6d, you can actually 236A through the 6D and make carl block into your pressure) Like all tager matchups, 5-5, get caught and die. Edited February 13, 2012 by Zeero
Leo7 Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Tager's 5D is actually a decent anti-zoning tool against Carl when he's magnetized btw. Since Tager's 5D only pulls the opponent in during the its active frames, when you react to Nirvana's D moves by hitting her with your own 5D, the hitstop of hitting Nirvana extends your active frames and pulls Carl in even further than usual, and you can sometimes make Carl at least block your 5D at distances that are normally not possible. Brian was abusing this trick a lot against Pui the past few days. #Encycleopedia
kr3wman Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 IAD Allegretto best shit Best combo: 6C>Shippu 2D best counter 2~8D best Astral. One... Two... Three... Four! Four people that don't know the deal ha ha ha.
