Rare footage of me showing up to Foonzo tomorrow. I also had this random idea of a random mash fest where early on a Saturday or Sunday we begin a small local tournament featuring multiple games such as GG, BB, P4U, Melty Blood and etc, thoughts?

Definitely down for it, after attempting to run an event on a weekly basis, you realize that as much as you want to make it happen, sometimes people just wanna play casuals. Gotta make sure the event is something to care for. We talked about it me and pedro, a monthly event sure would be great. We thought we could check with Foonzo if it'd be possible to have the venue open earlier on say a sunday for these events. It's basically asking them to open at noon instead of 3PM and keep the venue open for anyone during the evening as usuals once our stuff slows down. They'd still make money and it wouldn't be a pain in the ass for them I assume.

That or we can work out something in the vague idea of a monthly event. Actually, if I recall, Pedro talked about how great it'd be to have one before NEC.

We wouldn't need to open that early considering how other than BB GG and P4U there wouldn't be that many participants, and even our main games wouldn't reach over 25 players tops, but if you come tomorrow we could discuss this subject.

Random tournaments is a bad idea. But going back to the early days of the Montreal Mashfest tournaments would be cool.

I'd be down to help make it happen so long as it's not on a Thursday, which is my busiest day of the week.

Just bought Marvel NOW Iron Man #1, Adi granov variant. $30 though :/ fucking expensive for a comic but it feels worth it somehow. Especially since I never buy single comic issues lol

Tentative date for a NEC preparation tournament including all the games we play would be November 18th, 3PM to midnight, with hopefully stream and everything. Thinking BB GG P4U, maybe melty and aquapizza.

(most likely singles, and multiple games run at the same time, actual tournament will be announced for 6pm but then start at 9 and not get finished because it'll be midnight and people are playing casuals instead of their tournament matches)

If anyone has any ideas/suggestions/prefers another date/pizes please bring it up now :D
