I'm still practicing Order Sol. Hopefully I won't suck when it comes to real-time situations. Still can't FRC for shit. But grab setups are just so GDLK, feels so much more satisfying than grabs from BB. HOS's CH combos are the shit.

Bad news everybody, my ps3 is now in a state of near-death : ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

it has the yellow ring of death problem, which can be resolved 90% of the time.

i have 3 choices : send it to sony and pay 150$+, find someone that can repair it, or do it myself (i am really considering this one).

it's not that hard to do, but i have to be careful and all that stuff..... oh and find the proper tools.

this means that i won't be able to use my ps3 this week and maybe for at least a week or two... someone has to bring a ps3 or 2 if possible or else we'll be missing stations... i'm sorry for saying it last minute but i didn't choose my ps3 to broke this afternoon :S

well, i'll have more time to play my ps2 rpg's i guess... :P

I can bring my PS3 friday if you want. I have all the BB-related DLCs. Don't have the two DLC characters in Marvel though...Gonna have to fix that real soon.

Yeah, I figured it'd be the case after all since we were there when your Ps3 went lights out. :\

That said, I thought about it and might be able to bring my own Ps3 as replacement. No guarantees on this one since my setup is a bit complex. A quick solution is that Brice brings his cables and I just hook up my Ps3 using those. It'd save me the trouble of having to re-do the whole system.

Could you do that for me, Brice? If yes, it'd be easier to see if I can bring it. No promises (I share the system), but it should be possible then.

EDIT: Ok, if Gil brings his, then problem solved. :P

Turns out my exam finished earlier than expected, so I'll be able to go home, eat and pick up my PS3. I guess I should be at the HQ around 3.

Alright, we're awake, things should proceed according to plan (even though I'm always late). Don't worry, Cranky, I think we got this (for the sound and stuff).

For a list of who's bringing what, today and tomorrow will be a good test, since Brice's console won't be operational. Anyways, planning on getting 6 setups, but I think we have a lot of options here. At least one PS2 (brice/twiggy/rhannmah/nolan), a 360 (Eb's I guess), minimum 4 PS3s : an assortment of me/brice/kirbster/air/rhannmah/kaeru. I'm also going to bring 3 CRTs and 1 lagless monitor and, unless anyone is up for bringing theirs, 2 CRTs from the HQ.

I'll bring PS2 stix as usual. I'd bring a PS3 console also but HRAP + PS3 in backpack is like those MK9 x-ray moves on me, real back killer. Besides everyone seems to be wanting to bring their PS3 anyway so I think that's covered. Brice breaks his and then like 5 PS3s show up, what a wizard.

lol it's cool. there are only like 4 sticks at the HQ atm, so as long as at least some people bring theirs we should be fine.

There was a sign on the building when we got here that said it will be closed tomorrow. I'll get in touch with cranky and we'll see what this is about, but we might have to change venues for tomorrow, it might be at Foonzo instead, but we'll need to talk to them first as well. keep checking this thread for updates, when we'll know for sure we'll post on twitter as well.
