Makes it easier for more people to enter and run them week after week without getting tired, I get the complain though with which I'd answer that's why we have monthlies set up to double elim rules.

If a single elim/best of 1/16+ man bracket on two consoles takes 45~ minutes, I can't picture myself doing the full double elim/2 out of 3/16+ man bracket weekly

I was actually worried about the tourney itself since it takes up the consoles while I get booted out early, but Single Elim is fine if it really only takes about 45mins/1 hour. : D

Tuesdays were my favorites for that reason; less people, more playtime!

Lol, you'd think it would work like that but yesterday only one ps3 was being used for matches and the other 2 were combo practice. The one ps3 had a rotation of art least 6 players. Great matches yesterday by the way. Mu-12 pressure is even more hit ambiguous than litchi.
