Got my ass handed to me in SG, reminding me of how much I suck on stick and of how out of practice I am. One last thing: Sophisticat, y u no der? I don't think I've ever tried to hunt someone down so I could GIVE them money. Hopefully you'll be at mashfest.

Yup, I'm just going to go ahead and stop playing altogether after last night. It's the right thing to do. Though, I think I'm going to have to watch the archives later and see just how many purple air throws and command grabs in a row I got hit by because in retrospect, I'm finding it absolutely hilarious...tch, damn it, if I focus hard enough and meditate underneath a waterfall, I might be able to revive myself in time for the mashfest.

On a much brighter note, there were a lot of good matches in this week's weekly. I'm really interested in seeing how things play out on Sunday with the double elim + bo3 format.

Next time, I'm going to bring a pointy stick and every time you don't pushblock something in SG, I'm going to poke you. If that doesn't work, I'll use an actual sharp object. If that doesn't work, I'll do something much, much worse: I'll make a very annoying loud, screeching noise, lol. But seriously, if you want, we could play on Sunday and focus solely on practicing push blocking. Push blocking is a very important defensive tool. It's best to get in the habit of using it now. Once you get used to it, you might even want to look into learning push block guard cancels as well.

Alright. So I was thinking about this when I was coming back from Foonzo.

I've made up my mind and took the following decisions.

1 : Going to come to Foonzo on Wednesdays and Thursdays now.

2 : Since I dislike rotations, I will stop playing once every station is on a rotation.

3 : Taking back what I said and I'm not going to play in tournaments anymore, even if I started a bit.

To those that care about an explanation

1 : I enjoy the weekday express bus while coming back home. Since I get home much quicker.

2 : I understand people want a tournament format to try and get rid of those nerves.

But I don't play in tournaments.

I know I'm being selfish here by saying that I don't want to wait around to 10 ~ 30 mins every time I lose a match.

[Just in case I get this sort or reply " You just need to get better scrub, so you won't lose" That's not my point]

But that's the reason why I don't play at all some nights, for those that were wondering.

I'm not saying I should have a private place to play 1 on 1's or anything.

I respect everyone for using that format, but it's just not for me.

Jimmy and Song will have to teach you guys how to fight Kokonoe.

If players have questions on Kokonoe, I will try and anwser them.

3 : This is only my opinion, so take it with a pinch of salt.

I don't play in tournaments because I don't believe in videos games being competitive.

I grew up on videos games being for fun and not competitive / stressful.

But it's not because I don't believe that, that they should not be competitive.

Video games have evolved a lot and I wish it keeps growing even further for the next years to come.

Anyways, besides that, I had fun tonight.

Was fun fighting you again Psykotik, it's been a while.

@Heartless: That would have been so much easier to accept if it wasn't coming from one of those guys that keeps winning for hours and causes me to play once every 15 minutes : P

What would you suggest though? Brawl-wise, we have a system were we rotate out when you win a certain amount of matches in a row that seems agreeable with everyone.

Hazama, Axl, same thing, lol. The formula usually goes You + getting constantly harassed by bladed weapon on the end of a chain = endless despair ;.;

Unacceptable! Not playing is my schtik! But on a more serious note, not wanting to play in tournies is understandable. You've got to listen to your heart in the end. Nothing wrong with just playing for fun. This is a hobby after all.

As for rotations and sets, all I have to say is...ugh. I never realized how hard it could be to play until I decided to play more while I'm at Foonzo. I used to think about this a lot while I'm at Foonzo. It's tough balancing everything out so that everyone is happy and 90% of the reason I usually default myself to not playing while I'm at Foonzo. But for your case, maybe we can just always have at least the first station dedicated to sets? Seems the most practical since it's also the stream station.
