I don't know when we'll be done, but going to chambly, getting the keys from brice, opening HQ... it's kind of a lot of time, and I work tomorrow so I shouldn't leave too late either. If we finish really soon I might be able to, but don't count on it. Probably more likely to have something happen on Wednesday, and also Thursday. We'll just need to check with MTLSF that they don't mind. Eb, I'd prefer if you said "might" than "supposed", don't want anyone showing up when it's not open

Such high execution. ----- It is my opinion that the Haku players are boned at MAT8. I feel his worst matchups atm are Hazama and Rachel, which got worse from CS1. Ara didn't change, and Mu got a bit worse to fight against. Ragna is now more frustrating to fight against if it were possible and you can't make mistakes vs. Jin. Tager is now lolrandom and can mash D -> 360/720 for easy random win. Those chars are also the more prominently featured in the community. The Void will not prevail, I fear.

Not worth investing time into those ultra situational might never even happen once in your life combos. When are you going to hit an opponent with 5C while you're in the corner? Also, you're in for a surprise if that's what you think is prominent in our community No meetup today, guys.
Sophisticat Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Eh? Starter is almost irrelevant in Hakumen combos except to determine the end damage you'll do. His moves cancel into every special so he can start combos from just about everything. What's interesting about the combos is their properties. IAD j.a -> j.b and IAD j.b -> Hotaru is huge corner carry, but the execution/timing is hella strict. They are efficient combos that would be practical were it not for the high execution. Maybe I could do them consistently in a couple months, but for now it's stuff.

There will be MVC3, SSF4, MK9 and hopefully some BlazBlue. If you want extra games to be played just bring them or bring your system we will try to find a spot for it. So, we're invited to play BBCS2 at the HQ tomorrow. Anyone interested?

We have easier ways of getting in and we can zone and cut projectiles. So aren't that bad. Good news is next game we'll get buffed like fuck. We'll do great nolan just make sure you know your combos and solid spacing skills along with hit confirm. I don't get the point of that video. Don't bother too much with extremely situational combos. Funny how rewatching Porno Iron Man makes you want to play mvc3. Go figure... I assumed it also affected how long your combo could go before your opponent had a chance to tech. @Air: Yeah me and brice had already planned on going to train, didn't know it was gonna be this hype. You'll do about one rep of corner loop instead of two and shave off a k or two of dmg because of proration. It is there, but it's more situational since p1 got better on Haku's jabs in this game. In CS1 it was more of an issue, yeah. Also, you guys will have to count me out of ECT. I'm working that weekend. :\

Will there be anyone willing to go places too? I know MTL niggas are nah as fuck but I think some people could attend EC majors 2/3 times a year if they wanted to...
