Knew about that one, thanks for the vid though, different combo ideas. But what I mean was the other way around, tron being the second super. I need to DHC twice so I go from storm's elemental rage, to king servbot, to hyper sentinel force, and then I can do another combo with sentinel. But that's a lot of meter. After spending a bit of time in training mode, think I'm going to go with Tron/Sentinel/Storm. The drones allow for some interesting mixups with tron. So my plan is do some random shit, hope it hits, if it does, get sentinel out with tron assist, play lame, worst case scenario, xfactor storm mixup followed by ice storm chip. I'm hyped for trying it out.

But damn didn't have any time to do what I wanted to do tonight, which was to learn the close-to-but-not-corner combos with Mu Lots of fun to be had in marvel training mode. At least I had time to refresh my arcana bnbs for anime north in case that game gets played.

[MAT8 INFO] just to avoid confusion, I'm pretty sure Thelo and/or Jimmy Bones will be running HDR (aka street fighter 2 hd remix). Yeah I talked with Cranky the other day about arcana/melty side tourneys, says it's cool, 8 people minimum to keep it interesting. I think we need to figure out a schedule too. I'm thinking we should probably do BB singles on Saturday, during SSF4, followed by Guilty Gear maybe at the same time as MK, but not sure when they were going to do that. Given our numbers and the amount of stations we have, we should be done grand finals before MvC3 starts. At this point we'll also check our numbers for Arcana/Melty, as well as interest in, just throwing out ideas here, maybe a teams BB tournament (2v2 or 3v3?), or a 5v5 (or 8v8, or more) Toronto vs Montreal match or something like that, for Sunday, if people will be attending Sunday too. Anyways, I'll talk with some from Toronto at Anime North this weekend, and I'll also keep in touch with Cranky. I think the important thing is to avoid having a tournament at the same time as MvC3. We'll discuss this tonight at the HQ, but if anyone has any, thoughts? And just some more logistics... can anyone other than me bring a TV/Monitor/some sort of screen device thing that can be used to plug in a video game console? We don't have a van anymore, so I'm not sure how many CRTs I will be able to bring this time. Even if I can bring the same amount, that's 3 CRTs and an Evo monitor. I asked Cranky and he can lend us the CRTs from the HQ which are rather small so I'd like to keep them as a last resort. There will be one streaming/recording HD xbox 360 station, as well as a SD recording station connected to a CRT, both with mics if people want to commentate. Depending onw how much attendance we have for AH, MB, GG we could run money matches for them. I don't know about a 2on2. But maybe we could run that Montreal v.s Toronto idea in the forms of teams on sunday if we don't finish too late. Agreed MVC3 is a hype train no way of fighting it, also it'll probably delay any sort of tournaments we have if they are running at the same time. At most GG could be running during mvc3. In my opinion GG has more audience hype compared to BB. I'm mostly suggesting it because if we have people coming on Sunday, we might as well have some kind of tournament happening, mtl vs toronto would be fun if we keep it to best of 1s, JP style, and it might be enough, though. My dad sold the van and bought a civic. Take your time Blade with training, Blade. But keep in mind, it's only legit because your character changed a lot, and after MAT8 your it's no longer valid and you will be considered... dodging. (especially after nini comes back) @Ken : Oh about mat8, if you don't want to participate because you think you'll be free, just show up without participating in the tournaments and join the hype and casuals.

(especially after nini comes back) That is the primary reason for me not going. I don't see the point of burning 5 bucks to get blown up mostly because I can't use my character.
