better to connect it to 5B than 5A if you can. it'll reach almost 5k even with only that 25%. Don't need the 2nd DP D and hiyoku and if you do 5B instead it'll be around 6k something....

also multiple 623D in CS2 is bad idea

I've been trying to maximize damage in the corner with standing 5B starter and no bursts and so far the best I've come up with is this (gains 33 meter before 632146D). It works so long as (delay)5C catches them high enough but not so high that 6C whiffs. If 5C > 632146D is omitted, it does around 4.9k:

5B(2) > 5C > 623B > dc > (delay)5C > 6C > 623C > 5B(2) > 5C > sj.2C > j.D > 5B(2) > 5C > 3C > 632146D > 5C > 632146D > 6C > 623C (5701 damage)

I looked around after I came up with this and found a very similar meter-less combo ending with 214C was already posted (http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?11541-BBCS2-gameplay-discussion/page5), but thought I'd share this to help provide damage and meter gain...and to ask how to increase the damage, if possible, with corner standing 5B and no bursts.

Absolute best meter-less 5B corner combo that's character-specific and a real bitch to pull off:

5B(2) > 5C > 623B > (weird timing) 6C > (more weird timing) 5C > 6C > 623C > 5B(2) > 5C > 2C > j.D, land 5C > 3C > 214C (3932, 54 heat)

Relatively easy on Hazama and Tager

If you did not float the opponent high enough to do 5B(2), switch to 5A > 5C > 2C > 623C (3559, 37 heat)

omit 2C for knockdown (5870)

or end the above mentioned bitch combo with land 5B > 2B > 5C > 3C > D super > 5C > 2C > D super > 6C > 623C (5952). Make sure the 5C after D super is as early as possible.

Absolute best damage no burst fatal combo:

2C (FC) > 6C > D super > 6C > 623B > (delay) 6C > 623C > 5B > 5C > 6C > 623C, 5A > 5C > 2C > 623D, 5C > D super, 6C > 623C (7341, minimum 86 meter to start)

Question: does anyone manage to break 7366 without burst?

IIRC we were never the ones who were going to record we just provided the info. Honestly idc if this gets made into a video cause its still incredibly helpful if i ever feel like im forgetting somthing basic i check the front post of this and there it is in a nice little format

Do I need to be in the corner for this to work,

I mean if I hit the 6C>623B from mid-screen can I dash to the corner to do the rest?

yes those are corner specific combos

but if you try those close to the corner but not directly in the corner you need to do a small dash after the 623b or the 623c could whiff, if slightly farther you could follow up 623b with 2d but i dont think thats the best idea because u have better combo choices like 6c>dash cancel>5c>623b>stuffs

Hi I can't do the DP loop with the 5B pickup but doing 5A pickup almost perfect with the occasional miss.

I'm stapling this combo for my 6C corner :

6C>623B>6C>623C>5A>5C>2C>6C>623C>5A>5C>2C>623C = 4858

in near corner CH 6C I do this:

6C>DC>6C>DP B> DP C> 5A > 5C > 2C > j.C > j.D > 214 C = I thinks its 4.5k

and in a B+C near corner I do this

B+C > 6C > DP B > 6C > DP C > 5A > 5C > 2C > DP C = about 2.5k

can someone suggest stronger variation, of course without 5B as pickup?

^ you should just master the 5b pickup.

so i was talking to dark talon today and he brought up that he would like to make this for jin so if you guys have any sort of format or style you could recommend im sure he would appreciate it.

5B pickup is all about height, and i notice if you are not directly IN the corner it seems much easier to hit, its basically automatic on makoto/valk/hazama

Well I have recording equipment, so I've decided that I'm gonna take it upon myself to do this tutorial video.

Any Last Alliance video you have in mind just send it my way

Seems like I overlooked the combo 6C>623B>6C>623C>5B>5C>6C>623C>5A>5C>2C>623C = 5098 dmg 43 meter gain

my problem was I not letting 5B hit TWICE, the reason I wasn't able to connect 5A>5C>2C>623C after the second DP C.

can now do it pretty consistently:yaaay:

(Im facepalming for me now XD)
