You do the back throw you get guaranteed damage, you do 360B you get good guaranteed damage, you use spark after forward throw you get guaranteed damage.

So I stand by my earlier statement... Meh.

So, uh, we have adv over a couple of characters.? And what is moonrune? so epic type of Japanese? This Japanese match up chart is strange. What do the JPN Tagers know that we don't know?

Arakune is 4.0 in both lists? Man, sure doesn't feel like it. But maybe I just suck at the matchup. Carl doesn't exactly feel like 4.0/4.5 either. Though I guess in both cases, absurd blockstrings are absurd to deal with no matter who you're playing as, especially with the IB nerf.

After 5c (which stuffs sledge) the command laser locks tager in blockstun even with IB, so he can't sledge out during the taunt animation.

That matchup is so terrible, I actually feel really bad about it when I play Tagers.

What the heck are you talking about? I asked for clarification, then Osuna gave it? I never said anything non-factual. The one who mocked you was Osuna, at least direct your ire towards the right person. Otherwise it's just confusing.

Also,I wouldn't get too excited about the matchups. Almost all of those are 4-6 which isn't good at all.

I am excited because the worse the match up is the more I can think of ways to win by scrubbing someone else out.

Except for Ragna who I can just random out easily despite INFERNO DIVIDER!

I dunno, 6-4 is pretty shitty. Even though there are less unwinables, it's still pretty depressing.

Tager has always done well against Ragna though. It's nice that he's at least a counterpick for Noel. That helps viability alot.

What you should take from that wasn't that someone was trying to blow you up. You should take from it that you are someone WORTHY of being blown up. IE You are in high standards in the first place.

Anyway. Weird matchup numbers. I expected 7s and 8s

They don't understand how you work, its ok I understand you.

Its almost time for SBO so this chart might stick, we won't know until they actually completely agree on something.

FlyingVe and Osuna I love both of you. How about we leave it at that? Because you two are trying to confuse me. And to be honest, I didn't think Osuna was mocking me. Now onto the important news. Ve you gotta say the chart better than what we got in CT and Cs1. So let's embrace what we got. I prefer having a little adv and even match ups any day of the week. I need to work on Jin and Hazama though. The rest just come to me when I fight them. Also, I have a question. How Mu own Tager? I don't understand that match up at all.

Hey guys, don't know if this was discovered before or not, but here's yet another gimmick: You can do another GF after your initial GF after a combo and it will catch opponents trying to jump or backdash, and it resets the combo counter. However, it only works once after a combo, because since the new combo didn't have any knockdown in it, you wouldn't be able to GF.

SO in summary: Combo > B/Egadget > opponent backdashes or jumps > Gadget finger.

I will be doing some match up write ups so you guys can have more info going into matches.

@ Wolf: iObryan has already discovered that.

Gadget actually pulls people who back or forward tech too.

Oh another thing the gadget will whiff on some characters which means free hugs. (360s)

Anyway, I'm progressing, and I've gone from having a 5-25 record against my playing partner to 10-10. I still feel like 90% of my wins come from lucky 50/50 guesses after Gadget Finger, though. I've taken to ending combos with 2D instead of Gadget Finger just because it's safer, and then I'll do another 2D into 360 on wakeup, or sometimes I'll Rapid Cancel 2D into a 360. I've come to enjoy Rapid Canceling Magna Tech Wheel into 360B.

Yet I feel like all of these are gimmicks that will become stale as my opponents learn them. I also don't really know what to do off of 2A as an anti-air (sometimes I jump and air throw), and I also tend to mash 5A sometimes after a blockstring, but I'm not great at following up afterward with anything; 2B, 2C, AC tends to be unreliable in this situation. Thoughts?

I don't treat people like newbies, I do yell and scream and ask sarcastic questions to even the best players.

So let me tell you how I do things. (I'd like to say that my way may not be the right way to go.

Gadget finger guesses are after are guesses, if you are afraid of any punishes for guessing wrong then use 5A, the only option to beat 5A is backdash.

2D is really good but you wanna use it to force corner, for me I tend to use Bsledge>4D after collider if I don't use midscreen gadget.

I get the weaker mag than J.D/5D/gadget but I put them in a pretty good spot which is 5D range, an ideal spot to be in during neutral.

Rapid canceling MTW for 360B is great, you can also vary the timing of the RC, as Mike Z said before you can RC before the last hit to make it feint.

2B is a great option as well after MTW if people read a grab they will try to jump, 2B stops this and gives you knock down.

Personally if they are in the air I RC 2C which always hits everyone because they assume they would fall into a 360.

2A as a AA?

Off CH use 5C/2C>collider stuff.
