As much as we all love Gear, you guys should know that it's not a popular game at all. I guess my perspective was skewed from all the weeaboos anime fighters I hang with. Either way, I'm sure it'll have a hype side tourney. It's part of the donation poll here with Melty, Brony Fight, and a bunch of other crap. Charity, huh? Well, involving more money than it already takes just to get to Evo excludes anime fighters from even dreaming of taking that slot. Also, people still play Mortal Kombat competitively? My house is always open for Persona, Kof, or street fighter(I'm terrible but you guys can come) practice just text me or Justin before you actually come over.

And while I'm stalking Milln's twitter, I'm checkin out the cronus converter, too. I thought Jackie got one of these and there was some kinda issue where it wasn't effective for fighters? Or was that some other converter? You can definitely dual mod pads, it's what my little sfxt fight pad I got from Duckie was. It was a prototype, but yeah, worked fine until someone started flipping switches. Yes KT can mod pads. They do more... Cosmetic modifications, though. The Cronus works fantastically for Xbox 360 to PS3. The only thing is, I haven't tested it on PS3 to Xbox 360, because (from what I can tell) you need to acquire a Bluetooth adapter to connect the PS3 controller to the device. All my attempts to connect via the USB cable proved unsuccessful.

Also, i did 5K,5S, clean grand viper, into clean hit fafnir into 3 sidewinders on Ky. Its a pretty good feeling to watch a character's lifebar drop to half. inb4Klein comes in with something like "Now if only your neutral game wasn't ass."

This weekend's GG tournament should give me some much needed practice and wake the fuck upping. (There is one this weekend right? Someone posted somewhere earlier there was somethin' this weekend.) I was about to resign myself to learning a stick (something I've been meaning to do anyway), but I found out I was bitching for nothing. Once I paid attention to how I was braking, I found out how to dash on my own. The Johnny forum was telling me to mash 4646 after braking, and that just wasn't workin' for me. I dunno if mine's fast enough to be considered a legit FD dash, but it's definitely better than dashing normally. Edited January 11, 2013 by Volpe-de-Glacio
