So the conversation on Twitter today was Suguri side tournaments.

I come here to propose that we finally do a real Suguri X tournament, at MWC. This will be the Mystery Tournament and i'll pony up a bonus cash prize and maybe a bonus special prize, as well. M'Ellis has also suggested putting out a bounty on me to whoever puts me into loser's and takes me out of the tournament. People that would be interested right from the get go that I can think of would be me, Kain, Klein, M'Ellis, Bane, John From Cookeville, KhaosMuffins... maybe Papstr, maybe Star? Eireprince too? It's also wacky enough that Out Of Staters that come might be interested, too. It'd be whatever entry was for Samurai Kirby last year, i'll have to dig to make sure it was a dollar or five or something. Yea? Nay? If you say Nay, then give me a good reason not to.

I would enter a Suguri tournament if only for the fact that I love playing video games. If we do do it, I'll legit try to learn it before MWC.

@Suguri, I would definitely enter into a Suguri tournament. The game seems really cool, even if I really don't grasp everything.

Well, I'm throwing together a skype chat so you can add me and I'll make one. It's anne_ifrank. Me, Uri, Naimat, Star, and Volpe were in a call yesterday and things were bueno.

I'd personally prefer an irc chat because that is super simple and easier for me to use on mobile, but we can just use skypes. Figured some kind of chat that's not a forum would be easier to just sit in and talk about things sometimes.

Oh, and who all's going to GG tomorrow? I'm driving straight from SC there and I might need a ride home. I'll still have my stick and everything so that's no worries at least.

@DarkRanger: If you're going tomorrow night I'm easy to spot. I have bright pink sunglasses/stick/wristband, hit buttons really hard, and talk way too loud. Chances are you'll find me and Milln somewhere near Slam Masters or Project Justice >_>

Oh and more stuff, I REALLY want to hype up a legit Suguri tournament and get as many people interested as possible. I'm going to be pumping it up on twitter and trying to get people behind it, because I love that game to death and I know MTNG has plenty of players for it. Hopefully it's just silly enough and we have enough MTNG people actually getting into it to get some other peeps interested >_> I'm planning on contributing to the prizes of that as well and/or challenging Milln to a FTWhatever to challenge his title. there was a sequel released on the ps3 later iirc, and it's 1v1 in a circular arena. Think bullet hell fighter. There are various characters with different buwwets, lazars, etc. It's pretty hype, but there's alot to process in a match, and some of the characters are kinda bs imo :P. Still crazy fun.

Acceleration of Suguri is indeed a sidescrolling shoot em up.

We're talking about Acceleration of Suguri X Edition, a sequel they released on both PC(inferior version imo) and Ps3. It's a versus bullet hell and tons of fun, simple to grasp, and very deep to get into. I'll bring it today!

Some of the characters are BS until you understand what they do, how they do it, and what options you have against it. XD The only bs character is QP, who is banned as all get out.

Video games! How about we totally stop doing mainstream games like BlazBlue and Persona and just play poverty games like Chaos Code and Ougon?(half-joking) I am very definitely not traveling to majors anymore to compete and I am cutting my practice way down, the FGC at large is a joke and it has really turned me off to competing along with more than a few other reasons. Don't expect me to place very high in coming tourneys and give byes on my matchup for no reason. I'm just going to stick to hosting and putting together killer events that everyone wants to come to. This is what I really want to do. (Not joking)

Yeah, over the summer, I generally wake up at around 2 p.m. If I get messages while I'm asleep, I'll either look at them half-asleep and roll over to go back to sleep before forgetting about it (if it's early in the morning), or I'll look at them once I'm awake-awake and I never know if it's too late to answer them then.
