KayEff Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 There are only a few moves that can't be air barriered, most of which are unblockable moves. The two exceptions are Carl's Fermata and Tager's Atomic Collider. Atomic Collider has "anti-air throw" listed for its attribute, and Fermata has its attributes listed in the notes.
shtkn Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 perhaps A for air normal blockable, B for must use air barrier. Absence of both of these means it's a true air unblockable (fermata)
Skye Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Why not just put "Air Unblockable/Must be barriered in the air" where the notes are... Eh? EH...?
KayEff Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Fermata seems to be the only one that has this effect of penetrating air barrier, so I'm not sure if that would be efficient. You could probably add an asterisk next to the guard notations that Fermata has. EDIT: god dammit skye
shtkn Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 okay, all gatling notes uploaded at the usual place. I only had a problem with a few of them, but i figured i might as well get them all up just to double check.
rtl42 Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 i personally prefer the "H/L/A/all" terminology from GG, but maybe that's just me.
WolfCrimson Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 I just wanna double check something: Ragna can now jump-cancel 5B, 2C and 2B?
Manta Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Oh and it's "Gigantic Tager Driver" Not buster, I know we really want Tager to be Potemkin and all. Also, Notes suggest that 720 cannot be held. Is this true?
KayEff Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 It doesn't say in the mook if you can hold down the button. I'm making an educated guess (basing on the fact that A Tager Driver and B Tager Driver both have notes regarding being able to hold down the button) that you are not able to hold down the button to extend the duration of 720C. That aspect of 720C was incredibly stupid anyways in CS1, and if it's confirmed that it's gone, I'm glad it is. That move is fucking retarded. Oh, and I believe 1080D also follows suit.
Airk Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 I thought I saw some footage of Tager holding 720 after guardbreaking someone with spark bolt and pulling them in from pretty much fullscreen. Not sure if that was a loctest or not though, it all blurs together.
TagerTime Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Let me put a stop to this insanity right now. Of course Tager can still hold down the button to extend the duration of 720C and his Astral to suck in opponents form across the screen in CS2. Im doing it on my psp right now.
Manta Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Fucking stupid. Yes, because a magnetic grab that can't be held out would totally be the point of it.
rtl42 Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 when in doubt, you can also check the Japanese wiki, it at least has a lot of basic info about each character's movelist: http://www40.atwiki.jp/blazblue/
WolfCrimson Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Ok, under Ragna's Gatling table, it lists that 5D cannot cancel into anything other than "dash", but 5D does in fact cancel into specials and supers as well.
Airk Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Tsubaki Gatling table lists 6C as being uncancellable, but frame data says it can be jump cancelled (And special cancelled on a hit, though I don't know there's a notation for that.); Frama data is right, since I just watched a video of it being JC'd
shtkn Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 okay, went through all the character's jump/special notes, should all be correct now. Also switched the guard column to: H: block high L: block low A: air regular block so HL = high, low, air barrier block HA = high, air normal block etc also, any translators want to help with the gatling notes? i have questions on teh following characters: Arakune, Carl, Tsubaki, Makoto, Rachel
shtkn Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 rtl sent me a translation, but if you'd like to double check it, be my guest also forgot to mention that i had a question on Lambda's notes as well.
shtkn Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 rtl sent me updated translations, so that should be good. kayeff, noel's frame data has a dash cancel, but i dont see any moves that use this dash cancel in the notes.
xlolxlolx Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 should pass me some of them scans so i can translate some stuff, if there's still anything left.
