Evo2k11 BBCS2 Side Tourney: Singles, 3v3 Teams, & Invitationals(?)

Just kind of reserving the spot for now since I'm busy atm. Since I have nothing better to do I will be running the BBCS2 tournies. So far it's just the usual two: singles which is double elim and teams which will also be double elim. Tourney (for the time being) will be played on PSP.

Now to address some things.

I believe at 2k10 we had a lot of time constraints and it came down to the tournament runner to make the team tourney single elim. If the same constraints apply this year the same will have to be done.

Also, last year a number of people were asking me why the teams tourney was listed as "no one on the team can be using the same char". I was just trying to keep it diversified but with the lack of player entry (due to no US release att) that rule was withdrawn in the end. Since I don't want to hear people complain I'll leave it at that. Plus it makes the teams tourney a little more fun :kitty:.

Invitationals has always been a very touchy and controversial topic. Invitationals are usually teams and usually only consists of a max of 10 of them. Basically, each team consists of about 5 people who are the best from their area and they compete in this tourney to settle grudges or to just prove a point (NEVER FOR FUN MUAH HAHA). Anyway, usually people go ahead and submit their teams ahead of time and this team is supposed to be present at the time of the tournament. Thing is a number of the people either can't make it to Evo or just don't care. Face it, we're in Vegas and people would rather just go have a good time. So invitationals is up in the air right now. If we can get it going without having to deal with these issues (which will never happen) then we should get something going.

Anyone want to add anything? I'm tired, back to programming then troll myself with more MvC3.
