At least nothing on the scale that Valkehayn got delayed...Aside from what dummyacct said, PSN coming back up is still uncertain, and the Playstation store will take even longer. On top of everything, we don't know if regular PSN releases will be delayed once it finally is back up. So, yes, there is cause to worry for PS3 users. PSN being continuously down is a tragic event, many people will leave this situation irreversibility scarred. For 360 users, I honestly wonder if this deal will delay it somehow. I hightly doubt it, but if the (week long) PSN delay for valk was really caused by the initial delay of the 360 version...(
syzm Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 There's also a possibility that pretty much any game will need to be patched in order to work online with PSN's new infrastructure (depending on severity of the overhaul), and that would likely have to be addressed by the developers and not Sony.

While the thought of fanboys screaming, "LOLOLOL SONY SUX U DONT GET UPDATE", is rather revolting, there's no reason technical delays to one console should cause delays for the other. I didn't buy a PS3 so I could wait for Microsoft to fix their problems, and those with 360's shouldn't have delays pushed on them for something that happened to Sony.

United as one. In your defence, I knew it was a joke, and it made me chuckle. I think Sony's trying to tell me to actually work on other stuff instead of just waiting on Plat. Hopefully when I get back from my short vacation at the end of the month PSN's issues will be resolved and the world will be set right.
