After hearing the English voices for the first time, I just.. don't know where they were going. "Americanized"? I don't get how (or why) you do that with a character so overflowing with fucking kawaii. Nobody is going to be forgetting you combo videos, I watch them all the time just for study purposes. Man... I really want to test that 5C > Missile > Dash > 3C > 214D (Only 2 Missiles) > 236B > Second Missile Hits and see what could be done afterwards.

I just did what I should've done to discuss all this new info we got. I have no idea about the reason they'd change the names of the attacks. Sure, not everyone can appreciate the mahou shoujo references, but why would they leave the original names in the command list, then? It's a mystery. Sena's voice is... NOT CUTE AT ALL! I appreciate miss Bayley's voice range, but I'm sure she could've pulled off Sena's most whiniest "Cure Dot... TYPHOOOOOON!" perfectly. Oh well, I'm sure it's not her fault. And it's actually me being the one who haven't played English BBCS to see the difference before, anyway. At least Luna is okay, if only a bit old. And if someone cares, my palette is the DLC red-yellow one, the one that I've used on Faust before. Too bad that it's also used by a lot of top-tier players, it makes me look like a... palette whore? Well, when it's not available, I use the black one.

Bedsheets Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 I kind of like Platinum's English VA, but I think its mostly because I love having a little girl run around in all pink screaming "bastard!" at people over and over. I'm looking to get back into BB and had quite a blast messing around against my friends with Platinum last night. I've definitely got a lot to learn about her still. Right now I get a little too obsessed about trying to incorporate whatever item I have at the moment into my game play when a lot of the time I should just be sticking to the basic stuff. Also I need to just sit down today and figure out how to combo consistently off of her jump-ins or dash-ins. I was using Ragna to bring myself up to speed before CS2 hit and they combo out of the air quite differently it seems. Missed a lot of damage opportunities on my friend's Lambda last night. Plat is just too much fun though. :D

You want to connect near the end of the 22C animation, so you actually want to throw it out as soon as it'll be able to hit. The timing is a little picky, but not terribly so. Now, if you run up the proration a little, then it can get really tight. Uhh, when did we get out subtitle changed? Loli is not crime, pedophilia is. Ehh...? Mute Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 I guess I'm doing alright with Platinum so far. My main problem is I'm having a hard time getting hits that I can combo off of, practice makes perfect though. Going for 100-0 with her in ranked this weekend Anyways, let's go play some Arcana
