Tsuki Garyuu Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 (edited) The fact that it's alive after all this time is the closest thing to a compliment I can make. And frankly, it really hasn't changed much aside from rolls. Edited April 21, 2013 by Tsuki Garyuu

Pichy Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Opaque foreground objects? Glad to see Necrostorm are continuing to bring the genre to new heights.
Killey Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 The pacing of the game doesn't flow well and the animations look too stiff. Having objects in the back ground obstruct the players view of the characters is a bad idea and it's overall unnecessary clutter on the screen. Not impressed at all so far.

You shut your mouth, this game is a masterpiece of modern design. -No annoying "corners" to worry about. What's a corner, anyway? -Will he kick or will he throw a fireball? Every character only has 3 moves, making mind games even more important! -Fatalities render the character unable to request a rematch, so you only have to play the game once!
Pichy Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Well guys, it's finally happening. There's a February 20 release date and preorders are now open. I've put mine down. I'll make the sacrifice so nobody else has to. Plus these guys certainly know how to film some fake gore.
Tsuki Garyuu Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Huh? I thought it was gonna be developed for another two years. But really, I was expecting more previews.
Pichy Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 They're launching with six characters (that's two less than Skullgirls). They announced that they'll be steadily patching in more as they're done. In typical Necrostorm fashion, this means they're claiming it as having UNLIMITED CHARACTERS. Once again they've proven that they are the true masters of the genre who shall save us all from misery.
Starlight777 Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Why the eff is this still a thing? I can't believe I was actually hoping something would be vaporware for once. Oh well good on them for seeing this through to completion.
TD Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Where is my barf bag? Honey, go find me my barf bag... now...
Elochai Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 This game is 40USD. Why would anyone save a masochist be willing to shell out that kind of money for this game?
Pichy Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 I live in a world where videogames normally cost 100 dollars. This is still less than I paid for Red Alert 3.
SoWL Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 They're launching with six characters (that's two less than Skullgirls). But exactly the same as KI! For twice the cost! And three to four times more development time!
Celerity Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 While I don't have high hopes for this title, I think I can safely say that it will be better than KI. For what it's worth, the character designs and descriptions at http://www.necrostorm.com/games/deathcargo/character.html are all pretty badass. There's one guy who can mutate fear into weaponry, and another guy whose face is a hole.
SoWL Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 While I don't have high hopes for this title, I think I can safely say that it will be better than KI. How so?
Xechs Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 This game was supposed to be released on Dec. 28... in 2011, so Im not holding my breath this time. And the lack of previews of any of the characters (besides Plasma and Leach) its not a good signal either. I think I can safely say that it will be better than KI. Thanks for the laugh.
caiooa Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 They said that they weren't able to finish a system good enought to prevent people from hacking the demo to have acess to the fullgame, so the demo is on-hold. But the pre-ordered game's were sent 2 days ago. People that live in europe are starting to receive it, but for other places it will probably take a long time to arive.
arctus32 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Nearly time for me to do "fanart" of this game like last time (if I have time :V )
Pichy Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Dear customers -1 As said in our previous message, we asked the staff to uploaded your dvd game on our server. We just tested it but due to the anti-piracy technique it doesn't work. The anti-piracy has been created for the dvd version, and without the dvd on the hard drive, it goes in conflict. But you don't need to worry, the staff is creating since last week a down-loadable version to sell it separately, and in few days it will be available on www.necrostorm.com As soon it is on-line, we will give you the Free link to the file (this week) -2 As explained we already proceeded with a second shipment, with another postal service (the new one we will use from now on) the package will take half of the normal time, and won't pass trough the customs. 3-We will contact you as soon as the digital version is on-line, reporting you the link. Our Best Regards Still waiting on my copy.
JellyBelly Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Any sign of your copy yet, Pichy? I too ordered and have had nothing yet. This situation start to look like 2011 all over again if you ask me. But this time they've taken money from people for orders and just keep making more excuses. Very strange that we have nothing at all from people across the whole internet who apparently have the game already, which is thousands if you listen to what they are telling everyone. I wonder if they have had many Paypal or credit card reversals as I'm considering it now because something feels very wrong about this.
Pichy Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 The initial e-mail said I would receive it between March 27 and April 27. I'm used to international shipments taking a long time if it's not a super secure super-fast option, so I'll be sending my inquiries to them on Monday.
Clear Sky Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 I got a confirmation email that said that my game was shipped on April 23rd. I am hoping it comes within the next two weeks, but I do not have my hopes up.
Akiro Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Everyone I know who bothered buying this hasn't even received it yet. Yall've been duped.
