alright after playing some lolnetplay, i think its safe to say that you should save your meter for CH hiyoku, people just don't know how to not press buttons

Don't know if this was already known, but 5C > j.2C > j.D combos on some standing opponents. Won't work on Noel and Tao. Tough on Carl. May have missed a few characters. Rachel and Tager are the only ones I've been able to do 5B(2) > 5C > j.2C > j.D on. Everyone else, the best I've been able to do is link a dashing 5C, from a 6B.

Edit: 5B(2) > 5C > j.2C > j.D works on more characters than I though. The j.D just needs a slight delay. Can also be done on Haku and Hazama.

Or it could be useless. That'd be fine. Someone bothered to make note of that Tager specific combo, even though it does less damage than the standard B&B.

I'll give it a try and see if I can pull it off using it as an instant overhead against Tager or as a fuzzy guard setup. If it works during a blockstring then this is some good shit and if it doesn't, well...

Edit: It works against crouching Tager, awesome, it saves me 50 heat if I land a j.2C instant overhead.

just realize that the highest dmg combo Tetsuwo ever pulls out is 8067 dmg with 73 hits.

I wonder if that's a real red beat combo or not...

EDIT: oh yea... probably a real red beat combo with one or two gold bursts, thanks Jourdal

well it is hakumen anyways, but i think it has a slightly longer horizontal hitbox and taller vertical hitbox now

^i thought the upgrade to lvl 0 attks was just their hitstun changing from 10-12f or something like that

I can't seem to get these combos down

for corner standing hit.

5B > 5C > DP B > (slightly delayed)2C > 6C > DP C > 5B > 5C > j.C > j.D > (dashing)5B > 5C > 3C > 214C

5B>5C>DP B>>(delayed)5C>6C>DP C>>5A>5C>jc>J2C>JD>dash>5B>5C>3C>214C

how long do I have to delay the 5C or 2C..... I can't seem to connect the mid 5B or 5A in those combos

the first combo isnt very lenient at all, you delay the 6c also, rehhyou will whiff on some chars also

the second one doing dash 5c makes it alot easier, you'll be able to hit 5b pickup from it if you do it at the right height

Yeah, I don't even use that combo anymore lol. Now I use 5B > 5C > DP B > (dashing)5C > 6C > DP C > 5A/5B > 5C > 2C > sj.D > (dashing)5B > 5C > 3C > 214C.

so I need to dash in, but do I need to delay the 5C??? and do I need to dash in as deep as possible in the corner or what?

You have to delay it if you're really close to the corner, if not then just dash a bit and then 5C. I wish there was a surefire way to get this combo done but so far I've been landing it fairly often.

lol uhhh i havent dropped it even once, excluding herpderp netplay lag, but again some chars are just stupid(hakumen) and 6c will whiff, so do delay 2C>6C>rehhyou>5A if youre close enough

I'm using the (dashing)5C > 6C variant because some characters have some horrid aerial hit-boxes, Makoto is the main offender here. That and if you're not too close to the corner then DP C will whiff. If you do the dashing 5C > 6C then you're almost guaranteed to get the combo to work just as long as you're not too slow with the dashing 5C.

Probably the reason why I never use 5B > DP loop. I rather sacrefice some damage and go for the save way with,

near corner:

5B > 5C > DP B > dash 5C > JC > j.2C > j.D > AD combo = around 3.1k damage

corner:

5B > 5C > DP B > 2C(delayed) > 6C > 6D > AD combo = around 3.3k / 3.4k damage

You've got all the time of the world to hit 2C and there's no actual timing requiered.
