[CS2] Jin Kisaragi Video & Discussion Thread

Hi, I'm new to Dustloop forums. As you can tell by my Avatar, I am a Jubei fan. But until he is released, I have decided to make Jin my second main (next to the Smooth Criminal Hazama) but have no idea how to use him

Also, does anyone have any tips to use '623' moves, I can't get my fingers there at the right time and half the time it fails...

I can easily use Ice Car with Jin, and can use '632146D' really easily (what with one of Hazama's distortions being the same save for C instead of D).

So yeah, anyone have any tips for a rookie? And does anyone know if Jubei will be released in a Game, Jubei deserves the same treatment as Relius

man i am really getting sad with how few Japanese jins ive seen in videos recently and even when i do see some they're never that impressive. I need some more tetsu or ren i haven't seen them in months.

i wonder if some Japanese players have decided to drop jin :/

If you stalk they're nesica profiles you see they still play...they're just not showing up tetsu's psr is up and down (was 268 recently now its 259) so we know he plays....but yeah the jins showing up are like..Yutta and KLY....needs more tetsu ren or kogatan.

kirk was asking why I end the combos with 5D sometimes, here's my answer:

"it opens up for mixup option also I do it when it's too far for 3C>ice car

after 5D , if they mash most normal you can 5C and it'll be CH and u can combo. If they dash back you can chase them with 6C or 2D. if they just stand there u can double dash and then throw or 6B them.

you can also just jump and see what they will do first and go for mixup, if they also jump airdashin and airthrow. etc etc, a lot of options. "

so good yutta was he played solid the entire time and made the right calls when he needed to, just beautiful. ronitta was great to but i fell he wasn't playing the haz macthup right he was to antsy. KC is just a boss at making great reads

in the ronitta vid i saw him do somthin ive been meaning to talk about after i tested more often but school just takes up to much time...anywho at about 0:50 ronitta gets a 2d starter and does dash 6b > dash 5c > sekkajin > 6c > 623b > 214c for like 2700 or simthin. the link of dash 5c is mainly what im talkin about i see jins all the time just go for the 6b > sekkajin combo and that nets like a good 400 or so less dmg so there is no reason not to do it. you can do this link most of the time during a short combo where the proration is still good like 5c > 2d. the dmg difference isnt that big but enough for me to care lol

another good combo that i dont see by others is 5c > 6c > dash cancel > 5c > 6c > dash cancel > super jump j.c > j.d > airdash > j.2c > j.c > land 5b > 5c > 3c > ender this nets great dmg and meter the main thing here is the dash cancel > super jump j.c > j.d > airdash part that gives better dmg and heat i almost have completly replaced this for the times where id normally do j.c > j.d > land > dash 5b > stuff. this is great for when you think the 6c> dc > 5c > 6c > 2d wont work like if they are to high or to far. but again the dmg difference isnt in the thousands but there is certainly no reason not to do this

the last cool thing i know about is doing a jump move into land sekkajin like rising ch j.a > j.2c > j.c > land sekkajin > 6c > 2d > ender i love this combo cause it gets like 2k while still giving knockdown from a ch j.a, i use this surprisingly alot lol, but the land sekkajin part is still really good to know for other combos

I've never seen that [5C > 6C > DC]x2 > sj.C > j.D > AD > j.2C > j.C > 5B > oki ender done before. That and I've also have never seen j.C > Sekkajin. I'll have to fool around with these combos and options whenever I get the chance to. Good stuff.

its not really that good so don't get your hopes up but it is a better variant...barley

o i forgot somthing if you do a 5b dp loop combo where the combo drops instead of you picking them up with 5a, instead of dp c after 6c do dash cancel dp d > dash 5c > 2c >6c > dpc its real good, example: dp d(2) > 6c > 623b > 6c > 623c > 5b > 5c > 6c > dash cancel dp d(2) > dash 5c > 2c >6c it gets like 5k iirc and the combo itself builds the heat
