I've played everyone like 500 Times. I'm not spectacular with anyone, but I can play everyone well. Mu was the first character I genuinely loved playing as, but the last character I got around to playing.

If anything, My "Netplay Team" is:

Mu

Tager

Haz

Ragna

Platinum

Makoto

Bang

Word.

But to actually answer the question. Compared to most here. Im hella' new to Mu.

Yuki, when is your PSN ID is going to be finally announced? We should get pretty nice connection if we try. Also, I lack match up exp :(

PS3 got a sexy price drop in the UK. So I'd expect any time after Christmas. I only intend to buy it for Ico and SoTC Remakes and Blazblue. So I might grab ana old model.

Question about headsets, Do I need some 3rd Party Bluetooth one? Or does Sony have official ones?...Or Should I just suck it up and use turtle beach?

And Yeah, Playing everyone is great for training sessions.

Mmm... I guess there is an official Sony headset available... never used one yet. BTW, I am looking forward for my arcade stick modded for my Xbox also. Want to feel the famous 360 online. They say it lags less and is more stable.

Then he said it's a pretty good strategy against Hakumen in order to bait him to counter the explosions with D and let him whiff it (as if we didn't expect that lol)

Throw > 6A > 6B > 5C or 2C or 6A > 6C > 5D > 214D > 6A > 6C > 5D > 214D〆

Options:

①6C > *D > SoD (46 meter gain)

②6A > Omohikane (42 meter gain)

③J2C > ミライ (the future, lol)

・There are of course characters on which this combo works and not

・Works always on Jin, Noel, Tager, Litchi, Rachel, Hazama and Valk

・Works good on Tao, but when doing 5C is a bit more difficult

・Works on Relius only with 6A > 2C

・Work on Ragna, Arakune, Platinum, Makoto and Lambda with 5C > 2C

・Hakumen, Tsubaki and Mu are yet to be examined as well as Bang and Carl

The optimal combo will ideally be something like:

(4)BC > 66~5c > 2c > 6c > Habacan > 66~6a > :6b > 5c > 6c > 5d > 214d > (6a > 6c > 214d > 6c?)

the second rep may be possible with the slightly adjusted untechable times.

Air tsunugui is probably useful for getting opponents to respect you while putting up air steins, similar to canceling to tsunugui while setting up ground steins.

or it might be useful against tao....

In fact I do think that air tsunugui will have an important role when trying to create a sort of air-to-ground mixup, meterless or not. First thing I get in mind would be j.632C > RC > j.B > land > throw... I can clearly imagine this scenario near the corner with 5D and j.D set up for oki. Plus, j.632C on opponent's wakeup, who thinks Mu is going to jump in, would most likely nullify some common DPs imho. Keep in mind that it could be used for combos... And maybe combo ender for tech traps and such

Those moves have actual Head and Body property invunerability, it has nothing to do with the hitbox.

Air DP is for Mugen-Bridget-style moments of hype. It should also give Mu the BB equivalent of "air IB -> airthrow" from GG. And occasionally, as a counter to those situations when someone catches you jumping out with their own air normal and is about to land and 5A spam. And basically whatever you see Ragna do with his air DP could more or less apply (crossup DP RC into corner wallbound, I hope).

the 2nd part of makoto's slide doesn't have it and taokaka crawling is just a low profile move without invincibility

edit: bang's 3c also doesnt have any invincibility in cs2, but it was hitbox based.

So in a sense it's important to know if the new 2c can hit bang and taokaka

The second part of Makoto's 3c can be easily beat with 2b and 6a, which are much more applicable moves to use under that situation.

"Low Profile" is an artifact from GG, and has no hard definition in BB. Taokaka's crawl, for practical calculations, will effectively shuffle under normals with head and body property.

In order for 2c to hit Tao out of crawl, it would have to have an added hitbox below the knees, similar to Hakumen's.

Though it won't be very applicable, as Tao can simply dodge or block 2c, as it's not a very safe move to simply throw out in neutral.

True enough, but a 2c with a hitbox below the knees does have it uses. Since it might be a deterrent for people who thinks that those kind of moves can be abused against mu
