SolxBaiken Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 It's the blind hype that's making me nauseous (some people don't even have actual experience and exposure to Persona), also the fact that this thread is full of post that serve no purpose like this one. Also I think the idea of a fighting game is cool (do I think it should have been solely Persona, not really as I enjoy some other SMT titles more than P3 and P4. Hell a P2 fighter woulda had me doing backflips) but the fact Arc is behind it kills ALOT of my hype. If they give Yukiko Guard Cancels I'll be a slave to the hype.

Well that's fine and I respect your opinion, but just throwing around statements like "Enjoy your shitty fighter" is a huge cop out, especially from someone like you whom I respect and like as a person, you wouldn't like it very much if I went into the skullgirls thread and started flaming it would you?

There are 10 slots, Rise is the announcer, Teddy is the host (so a boss at best), and Aegis is apart of the fight, if you fill in every other playable P4 character that leaves 3 slots vacant...

Also I play everything, so I'm going to import this and play it, I just hope I enjoy it, but regardless Arc knows what they have to do, they've always known...want SoBa to get hyped for a fighter? Alright...I get it...I'm not allowed to go against the tide, The Ultimate shall do just as it's name implies and be the best game ever, can we move on and get the thread on topic (of what little we can anyways) also mention I never once listed any fighter and claimed it was more glorious than this game, I'm just aware of Arc's record and I've been having a personal falling out with them for awhile now. I would like the game to succeed but it's not going to kill my actual love which is the SMT series as a whole, hell if this was a P2 fighter I'd probably be more hype. Also I like alot of games, I don't have a "game" in fact I hold pretty much everything in the same regard, the only fighters you will ever hear me dog on are Street Fighter (cause I find them painfully boring, except Juri) and MvC3 (lol), so I'm used to dozens of games I play being flat out hated. Also Fighting is Magic looks legit. i think that she has expended to much time on homing cancel Uhh I rarely go on Homing Cancel, and me and Mizuumi aren't on the best of terms ^^;

While being positive about it is totally fine because everything is good until proven bad.

Cause if I can be X character default colors with glasses fighting same character default color without glasses, this game would have mirror matches done right (BB go close with manga colors)

Someone who didnt like Examu could have barged in on the Aquapazza thread and told people there's no reason to give a shit or be hype because of their preference, and that wouldn't be acceptable. same goes for someone who doesnt like umineko or fk digital or something. it's one thing to say "I don't think this game is designed well" or "This company has a bad history" or "this company has no history", but that's different from "Ugh you have no reason to be hype here's my opinion you're stupid for not having my opinion" and saying silly stuff like "THIS THREAD HAS SO MANY "USELESS" POSTS" as if you've never posted in other threads like that or made such posts yourselves. Also Fighting is Magic looks legit. nothing about mlp makes it look legit. nobody can judge that yet because it is fucking alpha and has no announced system mechanics. it is literally impossible to objectively call it legit. Now they have to do some different stuff to look cool during battles.
