I don't even know why they'd make her playable, I like her and all but she attributed to very little gameplay in the source material, she is doing what she does best, dictating the actions. Also I would've preferred an SMT fighting game NOT a Persona one (or it was Persona make in based on the two 2 games), but the likely hood of that happening is slim for facts I won't get into.

When asked what direction that plot will go in, Hashino says outright that Mayonaka Arena will not be a simple spin-off. "We're making part of a sequel to Persona 4. Story mode will also depict the background of how Aigis comes to Inaba and enters the P-1 Grand Prix." Welp, that's one thing I can take from all this.

I love the SMT series in general, but I'm pleased as punch that it is a Persona fighter in particular. Personally, I have always dreamed of a P3 vs. P4 fighting game with Jojo's engine. As for Rise, yeah, she has already been seen in screenshots doing some announcer thing. I wouldn't mind if they decide to throw a curve ball and throw in a character that didn't actually fight, though. Throw in Dojima. He can give death stares and throw coffee. His super can be "Neglect." Also, I wonder if they will throw in more P3 characters, and if so, how many? Maybe they will add Ken just to piss EVERYONE off. I'll also assume that two of the unrevealed characters are Naoto and Marie (new girl for Persona 4 Golden). Edited September 2, 2011 by Butters
shtkn Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 dojima can have a nanako assist. she disables your buttons to stop the fighting. i'm hyped for this game purely from a persona fanboy aspect... i expect the gameplay to be pretty simple and broken. i'm also worried this is the reason we haven't heard of any other new chars in CS Extend

I mean, he, like the dudes before him, is the heaviest member of the cast. However, he wields a two-handed weapon, so that kinda leaves no space for any grabs. Maybe there will be no grappler; maybe it's someone we don't expect.

All Hashino implied was there will be a reason Aegis is apart of the fight, they're not just throwing her in there for SnG. So I assume if anyone from beyond the realm of 4 is introduced as well there will be validity as this is apparently the FES of 4 more or less.

Of course he's only going to mention Aegis because she's the only none P4 character shown, heck they only showed 4 of the 6 characters they have out of 10. Also as I said before if you include everyone in P4 who have Persona and fight + Aegis that only brings the roster to 7, leaving 3 slots open, so either A. For some reason people who don't have Persona are going to get involved or B more FES characters will pop up. Obviously Aegis has a reason for being here and maybe she's not alone, maybe other have reason to take part in this too. The only thing that statement confirmed is The Ultimate will be a true part of the legacy and there will be relevance to Aegis' appearance.
