Try doing a 66 6C in the end there instead of just simply doing 6C. As for that combo, it does more damage and it has better screen carriage than the latter lol I'll give that a try, thanks. Yeah, but considering home much easier the latter is in execution (and a little closer to other standard combos), it's overall easier. 43 damage isn't all that much. :P

eQualz Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Okay, so that jin in the KAO tv set thats trolling on netplay, wasn't ren. Now that i've sat and watched it I'm pretty sure it was Tetsu the whole time. It does make sense that this guy is not Ren, because it's not his style of play in the slightest bit. Can't tell if it's Tetsu but I take your word for it.

Just uploading them burns me out and causes me disdain for the game...watching them would make me hate it.... Background aside, i saw a default jin and assumed it was ren since it was titles ren,tetsuwo,dennou and r-1...I needed some inspiration then i decided to go watch "rens" matches. Then i remembered ren is never seen netplaying in ANY of these sessions. Its definitely tetsu, his combos match what he did to ren later on, and some of tetsus quirks are in there lots of 2A AA, 5AAAA>jAAAAA block string, not to mention the movement and combos that no one else is really hitting. i noticed he goes for 2C>5C sekkajin a lot...i need to try that.

shtkn Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 ah, thank you. the way i've been doing it the ice car crossup is to rc immediately on the first hit and let hte really fast momentum carry you to hte other side. my way is definitely faster, but it assumes taht the opponent remains crouch blocking... guess i'll experiment with this more.
