Aginor Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 @Sphere211: Go to James Xie's Danisens. I don't know why you aren't going to those when they have a lot of competition. If you can't drive, find a person to carpool with in match finder.

But thanks for the suggestion I'll keep it for later. *writes in tiny notebook*

Aginor Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 OH I didn't mention I might go to SCR depending on whether I'm done xmas shopping and how I feel.

Nemesis Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 (edited) I actually lived in seattle (well bellevue) for a few months (from Dec to feb) but then my wife and I moved to Shenzhen (which through hundreds of games getting my ass kicked) forced me to learn alot of tricks and tactics the asian players use. Now Im in utah and really hoping to get my stuff done and move back to bellevue (or redmond w/e its called) They were all about the player matches over there -- no arcade that I could find except 1 which was an hour away from Hong Kong (were most of the players were) I could always go there if I wanted. Yea I was the token white guy ..... sigh lol Edited October 22, 2011 by Nemesis
YukiBlue Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Dropping Fighting games until the new year. I just don't enjoy them as much as I did. Got to B+ Rank with Akuma on AE which was cool, But for the past few weeks I've kept getting worse at BB, First I blamed it on lag then I realised that I just need a break. (When I say New Year...I usually just mean until CSE / AE2012) I'll still lurk on Mu boards, However
Nemesis Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 I know exactly how you feel mate and a break now and again is a great thing
Aginor Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 I need to play again...I'm too rusty...have to be more dominating in my scene. I really need to regain my touch. Sometimes I hate where I live...but at the same time, I have to live with it and just try to get better.
Nemesis Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 I dont often see other mu players in the 360 online scene but then again I spend most of my time in ranked =/ -- tend to use player matches just to warm up
YukiBlue Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 I wish the UK had a scene that wasn't in Central London. I'd kill for one. UK µ Rep all day bitches.
Aginor Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Better than having people around but don't want to play and are lazy as hell. :x
Sphere211 Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Better than having people around but don't want to play and are lazy as hell. :x ^^ Sounds like all the people I know in San Diego, too much Marvel, I swear.

Sometimes this makes me wish PH has a scene outside Metro Manila. I mean, there are, but they're kind of reallllly tiny :S , and none where I come from fjkh.
SolarMisae Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Got blown up at doubles. I think I had too much crap on my mind to focus lol. That said I'm glad our scene is coming out of the shadows. ^^
ThunderboltZ28 Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 We ended up begging a few people so we could have a full ten for the BlazBlue tournament. Six Hazamas, two Tagers, my Mu, and my friends Lambda. Lost both sets to two different bmode Hazamas. I have no idea how Mu can even do anything with those chains. 236A kept him away for a few seconds, but he just comes back.

It's just far from easy, and requires lots of good observation skills. But she can do it, which is more than anyone else can say.
ThunderboltZ28 Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 How can she do that? I could Origins his 214X and 214A to keep away for a little bit, but he always seemed to beat any of my actual attacks so I could never deal any damage.
Mr. Kimura Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Better than having people around but don't want to play and are lazy as hell. :x Or having people that refuse to attempt the game but talk bad about it. Though, there is someone I might can convince...
C0R Posted October 23, 2011 Author Posted October 23, 2011 How can she do that? j.c CH to 6k Once he sits down get 5d xx 236a out, IAD j.b, blockconfirm into j.2d xx j.236d, previously placed 5d will cover the gap.
ThunderboltZ28 Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 6K? Slow down, Cor. Lets start with something like uh...900? I do need to learn how to use jC. I know it can work very well against him, but ended up eating a CH from a chain instead.
Max113 Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 This may be a super noob question, but do you guys have any tips for trying to escape pressure? It is seriously to the point where I can only win against people who can't approach for ass lol
