I'm using a Cait Sith still (which I need to replace), a Buccaboo Ace with a crystal heart (the one I use the most), and an Orion with a Lightning mask. Names are Clifford, Gobstopper, and Olivia. :3 I just finished 100%ing the game outside of personal Pokemon collecting/raising and one last achievement, which is for a shitton of Paradigm switches. Last Monster group I had is Metal Gigantuar w/ Mustache named Abyss, Gigantuar with a Cactuar figurine named Casanova, and a Don Tonberry with a Halo, who literally only comes out so I can look at him.

For example, Rachel just recently got a new combo she can do when she lands any level 2 j2c, but I'd like to see how available that combo is on a practical level before we increase her reward parameter. Also, does anyone know what this combo is?
gli Posted February 7, 2012 Author Posted February 7, 2012 Not sure either. I only know of the standard bnb we have. The only variations I've seen that are EX specific are the j.2C special cancel versions.

The combo I did was CH 6A (dash) 5B j.C 2D j.2C j.214A 1D 5CC 236C (dash) (frog) 3C 214C 5CC 214B." having the damage of a j.2c (level 2) combo AND knockdown oki will be sweet

I know a lot of people are getting on their grind with schoolwork (definitely my case). The next major work related to Rachel forum/wiki will happen next week.
Herbal Grey Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 (edited) the only reason i've been "trying" to keep up is that forum is that i've been doing a few casuals and tournaments on ex and since i dont have the game i have been watching videos incessantly trying to soak in whatever new combos / strategies i can and see what the japanese have found...not too much other than that george combo (which i have yet to see performed correctly btw) and doing a sort of triangle jump with wind into j.c counter (or j.b), which in testing on The Biter and Xie and others is actually quite useful and powerful, since j.c counters net nice damage oh. anddd when ppl are in george stun, using j.C (float) tactics is also pretty strong, especially if they tech after cutting bbl combos short Edited February 7, 2012 by Herbal Grey

The guy must be really devoted to his Rei-clone waifu. Been getting a few of the bad ends before starting the final chapter. It's a nice touch that reminds me of Radiant Historia and Chrono Trigger.

Also I didn't know you could get "a few" of the alt ends before the Final Chapter, I knew you could get one of them, but I thought the rest needed the Paradox Scope.

Blood-related siblings? Even better!!! So far I've gotten the ones where you kill the Iron Giant and the Giant Flan early after closing a gate. Also got the obvious one where you say "Yes" in the dream.

Yeah thinking it over, while I still thought you needed the Paradox Scope for those, I realized I'd then have no clue what the game would do if you did that anyways without it.

Feel free to discuss in the matchup forums No information in initial post yet, just some placeholder text. We need an update to the CS2 Rachel introduction thread to reflect her minor changes. We might also want to start talking about her j.2C > frog bnb since it seems to outclass her old CS2 combo. I haven't had a chance to practice it yet. The closest I got to this is in CS2 using an RC on j.2C then going into frog. It works but it's not the real thing OTL. Oh and one more thing. This is the end of 7.0.
