wilde_jagd88 Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 The place you guys go to play games in Southern Florida is called Zero Ping, right? I'll be in Aventura FL (20 minutes from Fort Lauderdale) around 17th to the 19th. I won't have a car, but if there are people to play BB with , I might take a cab to Zero Ping for one of the days I'm there. i'll see if i can round these guys up for casuals. the cab ride won't be worth it if only two people show up. sad, but this is the age where bb commands the interest of only a few
2link121 Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 (edited) Keep in mind that ZP is basically dead now. Everyone goes to Flippers for casuals. Venue fee is $6 and they take debit. It's only like five mins southwest of ZP and the venue is significantly nicer. Also you will have to bring a ps3(if you need one like Theo will lol) and an HDMI cable as they only have 360s/Monitors at the venue. SFL FGC usually meets up at Flippers on Mondays and Thursdays. Venue stays open until 1am on those days. Edited March 16, 2013 by 2link121
Surf Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Since I take the bus and you have to bring your own setup, I can't really go alone. Well I can but Im not lugging a PS3 + misc things with me all the way out there. Would need to hitch a ride with someone. People playing BB over there or no
7thFonon Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Whichever venue works best for you guys for BB, I'll go to that one. I don't have an Xbox360 stick though, so if we do end up going to Flippers I might need to borrow a stick. What time do you guys usually arrive at Zero Ping/Flippers on Mondays? i'll see if i can round these guys up for casuals. the cab ride won't be worth it if only two people show up. sad, but this is the age where bb commands the interest of only a few That would be great if you guys can get a lot of people to come, but I won’t mind playing with a small group either. I play BB/AH3/AP with a group of 5-6 people max at locals in NC, so I’m used to it. :P
2link121 Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 maybe you can get DC to push some buttons with you Theo, he's always there on those days lol. Also Fonon, people usually get there at like 7 and are there til closing.

7thFonon Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 (edited) Thanks 2link. I guess if this is official I'll see you guys in a couple days. EDIT : wildjagd88/Surfeit, sent you guys a pm. Edited March 16, 2013 by 7thFonon
Keo-bas Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 So I'm considering trying to start local gathering in one of my relatives bar. Their plenty of unused space. they have bar and food and also television for certain sports events. The place also seem to stay up pretty late. Also two miles down from the same street is a swap shop with arcades game with few classics. (no 3rd strike sadly, but mvc2, tekken5, kofXI, Sf2) If I'm correct their not much known known gaming venue in fort lauderdale. Only one I knew about was zero ping which I hear the fgc has move from their. The other known one are flippers, Final round arcade, Arcade oddessy which most is near by or in Miami. I'm hoping to have gathering for our locals and try to coordinate with the other venue as well if possible.
Surf Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 From what I understand everyone is at Flippers on Monday and Wednesday(?) nights
2link121 Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Monday and Thursday. People go to Final Round and Arcade Odyssey on other days of the week.
DC Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 (edited) One year after the conclusion of CEO 2012, the Midnight Channel makes an unexpected return when Jebailey, now dressed in a general's hat and cape, shows up on the screen to announce the CEO Grand Prix, a bombastic fighting tournament created to discover who is the strongest Persona user in the world. Noting Jebailey's suspicious new attitude and attire, DC and two former members of D-SEES (DC, Mystic, and Juggernaut) come across the tournament whilst tracking a dangerous "item" stolen from the Kirijo Group, and decide to investigate. Let's take a look at our South Floridian heroes... DC DC is head of the Shadow-hunting organization named D-SEES, and also the son of the founding family of the Kirijo Group, a powerful multinational corporation. Though handsome and popular, he can also be aloof in tournament. Now 24 years old, he is a college student on the surface, but also leads a certain special organization in secret. He has come to the CEO Grand Prix in Florida to investigate Jebailey's suspicious behavior. Mystic Mystic is the 7th Generation Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon developed by the Kirijo Group. His humanoid shape allows him to process thoughts like a human making it easier to autopilot in tournaments. This robotic thought process unfortunately leaves him weak to the opponents who lack knowledge or intentionally fight random. In recent times he has had a private marriage (very few cordially invited) and settled down, but Mystic is called in along with Juggernaut by DC to help investigate at the CEO Grand Prix. Juggernaut Ever since his side chick died in a fire, Juggernaut vowed to become stronger. He's always eagerly looking for ways to improve, often to a fault. However, this eagerness is what drives him to be random in tournament, regardless of how hopeless the situation may be. After getting his GED, Juggernaut went to Texas to improve his strength. Shortly thereafter, DC sends him a distress signal to the CEO Grand Prix, and Juggernaut willingly returns to Florida. Juggernaut is also a former member of D-SEES and is close friends with DC. They are later joined by the mysterious newcomer and denizen of the Velvet Room... The Arm The Arm is a polite and serious young man. He always serves Igor and takes responsibility of his duty in the Velvet Room. Despite his seemingly taciturn disposition, he can actually be quite a show-off in tournament, often attempting things he lacks the execution for. When he finds himself in the outside world at the CEO Grand Prix this attitude and his naive nature greatly shows, usually with humorous repercussions. Who will eat, and who will be eaten?! Kongk4 Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Since the time I have returned from CEO, one question rests on my mind... What/Where the hell is Flippies?
2link121 Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 I'm guessing you mean Flippers lol. It's the primary venue for FGC meetups in South FL. Join this group on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/523421757701605/ and you'll see when people usually go there as well as the address.
Kongk4 Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 One problem: I don't got Facebook, nor does it want me to make an account for some reason. So I can't use that link saddly.
