Pepperbelly's presents...

"Downtown Beatdown"

Get ready to be salty in the heart of downtown Fairfield!

DowntownBeatdown.jpg

Pepperbelly's is a bar/comedy club located in downtown Fairfield. Over the years they've had many events held there, from fundraisers, special parties, as well as many known stand-up comedians. On Sunday, January 29th we've got it booked for a tournament! It's a great venue so let's show them what the tournament scene is all about, and we can have even bigger events!

Also, they serve food and drinks, so no outside food please.

And although it is a bar, no age restrictions are being enforced, so all you 3rd graders bring your controllers and enter the tournament!

Doors will open for sign-ups @ 3 pm

Tournament will start 5-6 pm

Located@

849 Texas St, Fairfield CA 94533

From what I hear, extend comes out later for America. But I wonder if people would rather play extend or what's the deal here? JP extend comes out mid December. From what I heard, Extend in america is february? :x

EDIT: Yea probably February 22nd because that's when PSP Vita is released for NA and they want to sync up the release for all the platforms it is coming out on.

what if ex happens to come out before then?

How many people do you predict will own extend and be willing to come out and supply the copies and/or setups required to play? I can easily provide 3 CS2 setups to be used on my own with no issues, but Extend is a completely different monster, with a single copy of the game running for near 80 bucks before shipping.

And do you think people will be that amped to play Extend to where CS2 is abandoned by the end of Jan?

I think it makes more sense to run CS2 at this point, but thats a real downer if people arent willing to play it by then.

I will have a copy of extend and so will spirit juice.

2 copies of bbcs extend. Then the question is if anyone will bring anything else.

^ then that settles it. Extend can be run instead of CS2, two copies is good enough. :)

Another bump for this... no interest? :(

I'm hoping the seeming lack of interest in NorCal tournament threads other then NCI is just people being too lazy to post. I'll try to be there if I don't work.

I have to get up at like 4:30 that morning to go to work, but I get off early enough to be there! Hopefully some one will let me borrow their stick... ._.
