Overheat Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I agree as well. I play against a Rachel/Litchi main offline all the time, and Rachel is a very fun match-up. I also don't think it's that bad a match-up for Rachel, but when playing a match-up over and over again with one person, I think the match-ups usually tend to equalize. If I had to choose other match-ups, then Ragna and Hakumen come to mind.
BeaverDeity Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I should probably play more Rachel/Litchi players because those are the two characters besides Bang (And Hazama sometimes too) that make me want to rip my hair out after about 20 seconds into the first game. But yeah, I definitely agree with you that matchups tend to equalize when you play with someone enough.

AchedSphinx Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Those swords counter her swords so hard it's ridiculous. When I decide to do a non-sword move I get countered by more swords. Eight swords is obviously better than one sword, however those eight swords fail against a really big sword. And when you can't get enough swords there's always twenty-two swords waiting in the corner. But that is also countered by twenty-two equally as potent swords. Goddamnit. I want more swords. Why does her twenty-two swords defeat my, equally as potent, twenty-two swords? That is when I realized... I haven't used my ponytail sword. That sword will literally break the game. Give me that sword. Turns out, that ponytail sword is countered by even more swords. tl;dr I want more swords.

My CV should also be done before the end of the month. I agree with Severin that the Litchi match-up is frustrating. It's obviously not her worst match-up, but it's a lot more frustrating for me than some of her other bad match-ups.
