Hellknight10 Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 I use the purple armor with blue hair that nobody likes also about Tao, watch out for her 2b that thing can get her close to you real fast if you ignore it a few times oh and don't crouch too much, Tao has a tough time hit confirming attacks on a standing Lambda (Neogio0o told me this and I lol'd)

Legacy Edge Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 just to corfirm something, in order to hit a 236D after a 3C it has to be either a counter hit, or you have to stop 3C before all hits of it connect, right? (doing challenge 12 atm and im stuck at the beginning lol)
Delrian Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 I thought you had to have counterhit and cancel it early or they'll tech... But you definitely need counterhit at least. I had a little trouble with that challenge but that was mostly getting 214D~C to work.

Been too into Lambda and her awesomeness. I'm getting mad good at hit confirms from 5a, 6a, and 2c, even 5D pokes are much better now. Problem now is that I can't, for the life of me, dash at all. It's just weird. It just does not happen. Which sucks since I depend on those 236D sickle oki corner things a lot. I guess it's back to practicing the basics, which is a simple dash haha. You should saw that mirror I had against Toan though, so much sickle oki it was bananas. Some of those fights were really close too. I'll probably upload a few soon.

It was 2am, it was after work, and I was groggy as hell. I had originally planned to do a quick FT5 using my Tao against whoever entered but then you showed up using Lambda and I had to do mirrors, regardless of what my originally intentions were. If you're going to use anyone else in this game, it should be Noel~ That would be like a Hakumen subbing Jin. Why would you use a less awesome version of someone who is biologically the same as your main? No disrespect meant to Noel mains of course. I just hate her personality a lot.

Somehow your original intentions transformed into a FT15 :P Not enough Lambda's to mirror with that's for sure.

BeaverDeity Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 I'm surprised she wasn't classified as S tier earlier, to be honest. Great mixup, great neutral space control, great okizeme off of pretty much any confirm, huge damage in the corner off of her great mixup and okizeme. The only really glaring fault is that she doesn't have a meterless reversal, which makes her have to rely on barrier mechanics, counter assaults and instant blocks to get out of pressure properly. But her meter gain is pretty good so you're usually walking around with 50 heat or so to spare, anyway. Also her good matchups with some of the other S tier characters really help.
