Kujikawa Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 One question for the SMP. Is there a specific timing for the IppatsuA? Like you can't just mash A and still get it. I'm still having some trouble landing the 6C too =(
Urichinan Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 One question for the SMP. Is there a specific timing for the IppatsuA? Like you can't just mash A and still get it. I'm still having some trouble landing the 6C too =( You need to delay your Hatsu after the Chun RC, make sure the opponent is above Litchi when Hatsu > Haku connects, so Chun causes the opponent to spin higher. And yes, there is a specific timing needed for each IppatsuA. You need to do small delays in between each one to keep the opponent low enough for all 11 to connect. Once you begin reaching the end of the loop you can start speeding up your inputs, but that's just a matter of preference.

I'm still having some trouble landing the 6C too =( you need to time ippatsu so that whenever you decide to end, the opponent's body is in the corner. you have to speed up towards the end if you're going for ippatsuA x11 or 13.
YukiBlue Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 There is a lot of info on these boards. But seriously, it was a total chore learning where to start with Litchi. I eventually sifted through a few threads to find a few relevant posts on what on earth I'm supposed to do with this character and how to understand all the terminology. I know it's how things are done around here. But I just felt the need to say it was pretty annoying. I'm not trying to be offensive but aaaaagh.

Adam0812 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Errmm, so how so I actually use daisharin, I can only get two inputs to come out
Kujikawa Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Errmm, so how so I actually use daisharin, I can only get two inputs to come out After the initial input (632146D) you can continue to press different directional inputs up to 5 times before the staff begins to go off. So an example input would be like 632146D~6~6~8~~6~3....
Daedron Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 You don't need to hold it down, I tap it along with the direction I want.
Lord Knight Posted April 16, 2013 Author Posted April 16, 2013 Errmm, so how so I actually use daisharin, I can only get two inputs to come out input direction+D during the superflash, up to 5 times
Kujikawa Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 input direction+D during the superflash, up to 5 times Oh shit, you have to press D as well. Forgot about that lol.
Adam0812 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Ok so I got daisharin working, how to do double super ender? Something like 63214d > 39939d > 28 > 8 > chun > all green??

someonewhodied Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Here is an interesting combo I picked up for when you have the staff in the corner, and you've already used 236A>236C before jumping onto the staff. X>236B>236A>236C> 236A>236B>63214A>staff.A>2~44j.B>j.D>j.236C>j.D(2)>6D>5B>6C(1) ~421D>j.B>dj.B>j.C>j.D>falling j.C>Ender.

X being what I assume as the normal in which you confirm into the combo is Hatsu>Haku>Chun>Haku>Hatsu>Ippatsu A>A>2(fall off staff)>44(Back dash out of corner)>j.B>j.D(staff hits 1st time)>Chun>j.D(staff return)>6D>5B>6C>kote>j.B>j.B>j.C>jD>j.C>distortion I'll assume X has to be a good move that allows you to even do all of that shit, because I can't imagine such a combo being possible with 2a>5b starter. Do you really need a vid? Staff starts against the wall btw.
TD Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 (edited) I think that combo was done in a cmv a long time ago (likely by chaoto or someone else) - not to take away any credit. There are even a few variations of it as it is, that sees some use by the stronger players who are apt with damage values, proration, and staff placement. by the way, if you omit the distortion ender and jb, the entire combo is possible from 2a 5b[m] starter. You probably won't even need to omit the jb, but I think it has less proration and damage than tanki hatsu. Edited May 7, 2013 by TD

Star-Demon Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 CH all green -> 2C[m]? or ItsuuA? Which is better?
Urichinan Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 CH all green -> 2C[m]? or ItsuuA? Which is better? ItsuuA mid-screen, 6B[m] in the corner.
Star-Demon Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 CH All green in corner is like, the rarest bird. If you have corner advantage like that you'd have to backdash to get the space and bait when it's much stronger to continue LOLAUTOPILOTTHISCHARISNOTREAL mixup. Itsuu A it is, though.
Star-Demon Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 I lost the 7k Swag combo and the big damage All Green CH combo. I think I'm ready to finally complete these things. Are the ones listed after the blank posts it? Wasn't there something bigger discovered later?
