j2H is pretty much #R j2H from what I've seen and fought against. Jackhound should still launch off a throw. The reason why moves don't hit after her throw is because they can't reach far enough or you're not getting there fast enough- you can do throw, OTG 6H for sure. The reason why people don't do throw -> Jackhound is probably because of prorating, if I had to guess. Doubt it'd do all that much damage, and you could just go into a setup off her throw for potentially more damage. Might be a good way to end a round, though.

It's OTG for sure- even if her sweep caused slide (it doesn't), it wouldn't explain why Jackhound OTG-cancels after a huge air combo into Dolphin Upper.

Some news for you May players- FB Dolphin command is NOT just using D instead of S/H or just hitting D after doing the move!

H.Dolphin- [4]6S/H~5~6D

V.Dolphin- [2]8S/H~5~8D

You have to go to neutral, then hit direction+D.

Now you know, so when you finally get to play the game you won't wonder why you can't FB dolphin like I did for like 5 minutes today!

I don't like this change, seems pretty weird but guess it will just take time to get use to it. I would have preferred just hitting D instead of S/H for the FB i think it would have been alot easier to do.

SO is their a specific time u have to input the 6D or 8D or can u do it anytime your on the dolphin?

It was working anytime while on the dolphin. If you want to do it instantly just do it as a double tap like if you were running/backdashing. (but with s/h in the middle and d at the end) Also forgot to mention, landing a CH on a ducking opponent with vert dolphin sometimes would lead into a free air juggle since it makes me float toward you. The hit had to be close to the ground though.

Jackhound is awesomeness, I didn't really take notice if it did more damage than a hori dolphinFB after a 2d though, that's something to test out I suppose. It's tough not doing a horidolphin after a 2d just out of muscle memory though. Also, I think doing JI's on S>H>UpperDolphin is a bad idea now as it adds more pushback and it's nearly useless now unless it's for the finisher where ya use HvertDolphin and can continue more with an frc. JI'in is another muscle memory problem for me. May is just dumbed down, which is kind of depressing...but she has alot more options and better combos.

Anyway..that's just me rambling...j.2h change is abit depressing as well but all the other changes make up for it x100. I also never once hit the frc on air H-roller, but I only tried like twice as it was all during matches. anyway...back to work :kitty:

yeah i liked the j.2h in slash. slash's version was alot better than xx version. it's good that she got dumbed down, for people like me who don't know how to JI upperdolphins.

some newbs question>.< how can u guys put that Jump Install on Horizontal Dolphin charge >.<, i need that one for pressing but i just can't figure it out how on Ground only moves +_+

try this combo, hold back 4, s, s, 9hs, frc, then u should be able to jump or dash after the horizontal dolphin. can someone help me with OHK combo? why can't i connect s, hs, Vert dolphin after ohk? is there a trick to land the Vert dolphin like hold 7 or 9? cuz i can connect the s, and hs after an ohk but after that the opponent can tech and the upper dolphin won't connect.

You're Hanzo, right? From what I remember last time I saw you play you were doing the Dolphin abit too late. Just tap s, hs faster so you'll have more time to charge the dolphin..thus getting it out sooner.

pulsr or purrin or whoever has played AC. how is the Fake dust attack and can you combo after it? cuz it doesn't look like you can. also what are the inputs for the fake dust? fake dust is a low or overhead hit? i mean it's just like a sweep? so many ? i know

EDIT EDIT EDIT After I went back and checked the mook, I noticed that the fake dust actually has a 34 frame startup and is -12 on block. But it is jump cancelable so it shouldn't be too unsafe if they just block it.

because they look awesome. i dont think you can follow up the feint UNLESS you are in the corner and_or do it really close. Pretty sure you can just do j hs dust combo though

Fake Dust is a low hit. You can Jump after it hits and do an air combo, or do a s-vert dolphin and continue into the silly dolphin loop. The input is to just hold down dust.

Piano s, h. As in tap h right as ya hit s. You should be charging down before the H animation even begins. Besides that...dunno what else you'd be doing wrong. Just practice the timing on a standing opponent over and over till ya get it down, then try it off an ohk. Just be sure to throw out the dolphin right as the H hits. pulsr just owned purrins post cause pulsr is #1 and purrin likes lolicons ;[

hey thanks pulsr or purrin whoever posted that ^^ . i am finally getting it. i can land the dolphin 50% of the time now. now i just need to practice FRC' the dolphin to followup with more damage. cuz right now i can't land the FRC at all and the timing is tougher than im use to . I don't think may is meant to be played on Pad. ALso i saw some AC vids and i think his name is Kedako and he usually does a standing punch into vert dolphin. am i seeing that right? cuz i can't do a standing punch into vertical dolphin *radio edit* Didn't go to bed until i could land the s,hs, Vert dolphin after ohk. ten times in a row.

You do [2]5 5P 8S/HS in quick succession. In the dolphin loop, I'd think you charge while bouncing off the opponent and release by the time you do the 5P. IDK, since I haven't played, but that should be the way to do it.

You could actually do that in Slash, but it wasn't as important because mostly it was just used to help get the double dolphin enders at the end of her BnB IIRC.

must be some secret japanese technique. can any of you guys do a standing punch into vertical dolphin? yeah i know what u mean by it's more important in AC than in slash for her OHK combo.

Yes, it's easy: [2]begin moving the stick up to 8, then around 5 (neutral) press P, and continue moving to 8, then press H or S and a dolphin will come out

thx -_-" need to change my habit holding 1 in any of May Combos that i use (it screw up JI H dolphin into V Dolphin >.<)

err, no i mean i need ji hori dolphin in case they perfectly guard all my combos to continue my pressing with 2hs i usualy start the presing by holding 4 k,s,s,1/2d <- here i screw up H Dolphin into V Dolphin +_+ some times i press 1/2 to fast and change the computer reading as charged 2 >.<
