Sad that Kedako didn't make it, but I'm glad Moriyama did. I've been searching all over for vids of him playing but I've only found one of him vs Nemo, so now hopefully we'll be able to see some new stuff eh?

From Moriyaya I don't expect anything new. I have the belief that he does so well b/c of the simplicity of it all. He keeps his shit really simple, and it really works. He will run at them, abuse J.2HS in their faces, than OHK them. Kedako's Combos are soo sweet though. It is a shame.

Accent Core Eddie is debatable the best character in all of guilty Gear. He is definitely the best character I’ve ever seen. (I don’t play Marvel, and I hear that Magneto could rival him)

That's an interesting question. I'd say it's more of an eddie could rival magneto though. Cause yeah, eddie has unblockables (by himself), but magneto can infinite off of just about every hit he has.

So boredom + a conversation I had with Kyle at FR led me to come up with this hawt new trick. -This has happened to all serious May players at some point. You've gotten a knockdown, you've FRC'd a hoop over someone's head, and you run in and do the D feint-SVD to seriously hurt them. However, instead of the SVD coming out, you just jump into the air, and your opponent techs to safety. You just lost 25% tension, a great damage opportunity, and the momentum became neutral again. On top of that, now your opponent doesn't fear the D feint nearly as much, as it did 5% as opposed to the 45% it was supposed to, so they'll get hit by the regular D way less often. Shitty. It's around a 3-4 frame window that you have to cancel -D-(or more technically, the pre-jump frames from jump cancelling the -D-) into SVD, so you're prolly gonna mess it up at some point. So instead of doing -D-, charge 2, 8S, do this: -D-, charge 2, 9S-H-D. That way, if you mess up the cancel, you'll simply jump towards them and start an aircombo (j.H-D, dj.H-D). It makes the worst case scenario for the move completely different, as you'll always get some sort of meaningful damage when -D- hits.

Well, the BEST is a matter of opinion, but here's who to look out for

Moriyama- OCV'd in SBO 2007. Simple, effective HILARIOUS play style. Participated in 23 v 23 this year

Efute/ F.T. - This man is very well rounded and wins often. Nothing super special but he is very very solid. This man is on N-O (Best Venom EVER) list for 23 vs 23

Kedako- This man always does the flashiest combo's and wins... well he doesn't win enough. But he gets you pumped watching his combo in matches. He has yet to qualify this year and I have a bet on him winning Last Chance Qualifiers. He will probably team with ANG (Flashiest Anji: Second best to Domi) and Roz (Flashy Ky: Second best next to Machaboo) participated in 23 vs 23

Now I feel I must mention two more names because they qualified this year =/

Endou- He's been playing May since ST (LOL) but never wins in vids and he was only really noted for finding out how much stun May's 6P has. He has numerous GXX:Slash vids released but... they could be better.

Koinuma- This man is almost Exactly like Endou without the 6P video. Really, the only thing positive I can say about him is that (Koichi: Best I-no EVER, but qualified with Millia) feels he is the best May in Japan for a 23 vs 23. But I've yet to find out why. His blog is here:

XD I dunno how much crap i had to put up with for being the bastard who plays "the dumb little bitch that steals lifebars for a living". (it's all in good fun, dont get worried or anything). Johnny is still on it's way, but it's taken longer than expected. -I've been hired @ Sonic for morning shifts -I've been hired @ Gamestop for evening shifts -Staff forum is under two major discussions I'm addressing -I've got to a write a letter to SBO. Hopefully we can get Tougeki streaming again this year -I get to play gear in Morehead this weekend but it will take an All-nighter to do it. -I've had two avatar request I need to complete Yeah this +basic life stuff is why Johnny has been on hold.
