Apparently, Fight Night has been cancelled for tonight.

Update: So Leo and some of the others can't make it until very late, which is why they're cancelling Fight Night. Since the bar is still booked, and that the Smash community will still show up, I will be there for some time with my single anime setup. So, if you're still thinking of coming, then know that there will be one HD monitor there.

Well, at least I didn't try to find it in Sommerville...Mioterehteshiogao rsih!!!

 

So, I used the info on the calender to find the place.  I had this open in one tab-facebook in another, quick checked that things were going on tonight, then printed the directions.  I got lost for an hour trying to find the Ale House.  I am not familiar with Boston and it's roads are hateful.  Google Maps isn't that great either.

 

I get there, find out that I had the date and time wrong- it was at sommervile.

 

I leave, GET LOST AGAIN trying to get out of Boston, and  now I find out that the main thing I wanted to go for was cancelled at last second.  Gr.

 

 

May I just say something:  For the love of god, keep all of your information up to date, or screw you.  This isn't the first time I've been burned by poorly managed event info.  It seems whenever there's a regularly meeting game group they always forget to update their information resources properly, or cancel at the last second while only telling their personal friends, resulting in me showing up somewhere by myself!  At least this one, I assume actually had the proper info somewhere.  At the same time, I don't think I should have to delve into research to figure out which s**** is accurate, especially when it's directly on the calender.   What, did they just mark the calender up a year in advance and forget about it?

For reference, NEXT Tuesday is at the East End Grill in Somerville (as have all of these for about a month, and as will they be in the future as far as anyone knows right now.).  It's on Broadway in Somerville, and relatively accessable from everywhere UNLESS You are coming from the South, in which case, god help you.

I'm not familiar with Boston, and until Yesterday, I didn't know Sommerville was next to Cambridge.  When I looked at the map, I actually thought the bar was in sommervile at first.

And didn't see you Airk. I was there from 7:45 to 11:00 pm, managing one of the two setups. Played around with Narukami, Kanji, Labrys in P4A for a good while before switching to BBCP. And there were some Smash players who wanted to join too, so that was great.

 

I still didn't get my taco though

okay so i just asked someone to change the tread name because the brain box is closed. i kind of wanted to change it cause its closed. also now that i just graduated hs i can start coming soon, but probably only for like a hour or 2. probably the early hours thou cause im only 18 without a licences.

It's really not a bad neighborhood at all - all your paranoia about that seems a little odd to me.
