GGs to badlime. Believe we played about 60 matches. Was a lot more fun towards the end once I had gotten warmed up on Hazama and we started going 50/50'ish on each other :P I liked that part around the 5th from last game where we both whiffed/crossed-up over and over for like 3 seconds straight.

recently Ive just been unable to provide competitive gameplay because I just cant muster the desire to "want to win" -- Im finding myself bodied by just about anyone and its pretty irritating - but I just dont feel that burning desire to win like I used too -- does anyone else get the idea of what Im talkin about? what do you do about it? I dont feel particularly bored with BB i still enjoy it but im just feeling alot of apathy that messes me up

Its like I dont even care about finishing my combos half the time - all the stuff I used to be proud of just... im totally apathetic about

i have this happen to me everyonce in awhile but in my case after i start losing many matches in a row by a considerable amount i just get pissed at myself and that fire starts burning brightly again.....i get over stuff rather quickly.

I know all about it, it happens when my opponents pick Noel and Litchi.

I prefer to just try to 6B them to death on Hazama :p

You should go play another game, that's what I do. Try playing Faster Than Light for a few minutes, when you look at the clock you'll realize it's actually been about 10 hours.

I hear ya.

I think in my case it's just the realization that I will never be able to take this game more seriously because no ones interested in starting a scene where I live.

isnt that just netplay for you? your from the WC try to go to the Ranbats/tournies as BB still running here if you start feeling like that.. I dont even play the game much anymore but theres ALWAYS BB in the Cali Scene even with P4U being the main game atm.

Trust me its fun and i used to be just like that back then. But i can appericate netplay.. sometimes.. well depends on whom im playing really..

or you can option select and do what everyone is doing. fuck bb for now play something else till CP comes out.

I do appreciate the multitude of suggestions from everybody (makes me feel so loved*)

I think a brief or even an extended break is in order.... Its nice to know that other ppl go through the occasional slump as well -- hopefully itll pass when Im feeling up to BB standards again- I'd love to participate in ranbats but a drive to cali is just unlikely to happen anytime soon (as Im in utah) and there is basically no scene here besides like 2-3 ppl? maybe?

I really wouldn't be surprised if me and you are like the only BB players in the entire state. Did you move to St. George or something? We have 2 now and we used to have perma-4.
