I was the stone golem Platinum. :D Another time, if nothing else you sub plat. i can download some tech off you ^^ Happens to me as well, though it's mostly my latency. Though my level does scare some people off or probably my PSR /shrug. So I'm lucky to actually get a game in, in most cases. A lot of times I'm just kicked from every room I join and then people tank on my player rep. But what can I say, I live to learn Lambda. To all of those I played today, sorry for the baddie bad lag. I thought maybe, just maybe, my latency would be good on a Monday, but dorms are never kind to me. @Srgsheetz(sp?) Not sure if you kicked me because of the lag or because you were salty, but GG. I kind of wanted that astral in that first game. I need to remind myself never to style. I'm not Omniscythe. @iora, yeah I went on a tangent there, but anyways, you can add me if you like. You're EC and I play frequently (mostly in training mode lawlz).

I'll try to get online at that time and play you for a bit. I'm free so don't expect much though.
advancedNoob Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Tbh if you aren't decent yet, you shouldn't even hang in Haven's room. The only thing you will learn there is how to be a punching bag. It's better to play someone you can almost beat, that way it's mostly a GG and you push your limits to try and get that win.

I can probably attribute my skill level because of that as can most people. But honestly, if a person is legit good and they host a room without the [Expert] tag, then you should be allowed in. Maybe even drop them a message letting them know you want to learn how to play or some such. Whenever I make a room, anyone can join, provided that the latency is good on my end. I'm fairly certain my Lambda has been getting better so you'll gain valuable match-up experience as well, since I play similar to most other Lambdas. @Nem, it happens. I wasn't sure if he was or not since there was only slight lag. But well, I'm fairly certain Arakunes hate anything that can move.

Usually on at least for a little bit each day, I just host a room and training mode it. If people come, I get games, if not... i get training done. Ill prob be on tonight around 6pm est. If you wanna play some and help me level, Id love it lots . If not, no big deal. All the levels and shit willl be a fresh start in a week. Really not the biggest deal at this point. And honestly, I rather get blown up by good players than fight equal level. That gives me 100x more drive to improve. Theres a pretty solid Jin I live by, and when I first started to learn this shit, he used to double perfect me. Now I take rounds frequently and matches occasional. Almost always close shit. I dont get my enjoyment smashing scrubs, so I get that if people wanna kick low levels, but give me a few games to prove myself at least lol. I don't know about Mu, but the Arakune vs Lambda match-up is pretty much an auto-pilot match-up for Lambda until Arakune has 50 heat.

The only reason I kick low leveled players is because of my fear of developing bad habits, I can't play as intelligently against them and it forces me to change up my style completely in a negative way. The lag wasn't bad as my later games, the only thing it prevented was that astral I attempted to do, about it. Anyways no hard feelings. @Haven, yeah I was essentially apologizing to as many people as I could about my baddie lag. I probably won't play much until like March, but the urges to play are quite overwhelming at times :D. @toan, the match up is like that yes. I try not to be that way, but it's rather easy to pick an Arakune a part. Kind of like how Tao, Haz, Bang, and Valk pick Lambda a part. Even trade I guess. Anyways Toan, if you're up for some mirror matches, the weekend is the best for me, less likely to be influenced by dorm net since everyone departs (usually). All of that aside, GGs to the people I played today. I actually got a stable connection for a good few hours. BGs to Oreowolf and KiddxKhaos, the latter of which sent me a very angry voice mail because I *ahem* zoned... I need to find like a place where Lambda is a rushdown character in like bizarro world or something. Don't get me wrong, I do things like sickle storm oki, shenanigans, a bunch of spacing crap, but if I do 44 once, people get mad.
