After that I just buy the US/UK copy so I can understand everything (though with BB I only did it just to get the lobby messages translated as I knew everything else by memory)

I get that much but, since the Japanese and American releases is gonna be about a week a part when you factor in the shipping, I don't see why you wouldn't just wait. You'd save a hell of a lot of money with a bit of patience~
