I'm trying to watch Clannad at the moment to be honest. I loved the Oyazaki's and Furukawa's dad dubbed voices to bits and liked the older purple haired chick's too. But fuck me do all the other girls sound the same. It's not much better in Japanese too, the girls only sound less similar because I can't understand them and as a trade-off Oyazaki and Furukawa's dad sound considerably less awesome...

I just got passed that Fuko chick dieing or something and errrrrrrrrr..... Yeah I don't think i'm going to watch any more for a bit, it hurts my brain.

I forgot about Drrr! That maybe number 10-11 on mah' list. Oh and dude, spoilers (Though it doesn't really matter because Clannad is the most boring lamest piece of poo that was ever possibly created. Key animes and K-On!, I hate them with a passion. DAMMIT I WANT TO STEP ON MY DANGO STRESS BALL).

Fairy Tail is strange, I remember watched around 10-12 episodes with a friend. Natsu I believe is the main character, that guy was some annoying dude that didn't have really anything unique to him. The girl in it was also annoying as well and was clearly fan service. Then there was the dude that kept taking his shirt off, he was cool. So was Happy and that clock thing that shut that girl up.

Really? I mean, I actually did enjoy the Beelzebub anime, but it wasn't exactly that great. There was loads of fillers at the start too which caused most people to drop it, but thankfully they stopped abusing the shitty electric shock joke and then the show as a whole got a lot better. I need to read the manga soon.

Meh I'm more for more actiony anime myself, I've been meaning to try Fairy tail but I dunno..

recently got the Devil May Cry anime on Dvd just because the whole season was going for like £3 so I thought why not? haven't finished it yet but from what I've seen its alright lol

Yeah, I can agree with this. I love the hell out of Fairy Tail but the constant DEMs for the final boss fights are starting to get a little lame. At least Natsu actually kept his powerup he got from Laxus last arc though it seems.

Really though, the majority of long running shounen animes are kinda bad. Naruto and Bleach were both actually good at the start and then went bad with fillers and whatnot. One Piece's pacing is awful later on. Fairy Tail started off kind of meh but always had an awesome soundtrack and the animation soon did get a lot better starting with the Phantom arc iirc.

I just read the manga of all of those now though, have been too lazy to catch up with their respective anime D:

I do wanna watch Gintama at some point but 252 episodes is a lot to catch up on when I already have a huge backlog. I'll stick to watching Sket Dance for now since I've been following that since it started.

best I could think up was Trinity found a boy and a girl who were friends and said.."say wanna do something fun for the rest of your lives?" and they are like "uh well yeah.." "too Late" and then fusioned them in Luna's body...meh..

I tend to enjoy anime thats fun and light-hearted. I like stuff that doesn't follow no real plot, and this is one of the reasons why I like some Bleach fillers (Not the arcs, oh god not them), though I can see why everyone hates them. Wait a week for a new episode and get a filler, not cool. I found Beelzebub to have a cast of lovable characters and good humor throughout, the reason I probably rated it so high was probably cuz' I just finished watching it and I haven't any of the other animes on that list (Except Gintama) in a good few years.
