My opinion may not count there xD I don't mind switching to a sub every so often though, I wouldn't drop her even though it seems tougher to play as her with each game passing by.

Rele Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 so guys in your opinions who are the absolute best rachel players? N-O and Jaeger. N-O has the most solid style overall and never runs out of wind, and also has very strong opponents on average in A-Cho. Jaeger has great reactions and almost always responds correctly to whatever the opponent is doing. Too bad he also plays Hazama, so there's less footage of his Rachel. Most other Rachels you find in the video thread are also extremely good (mainly the ones that appeart fairly often), but these two are definitely my favorites besides Matsu, who is always entertaining to watch, even if I wouldn't rate him as the best Rachel.

My favorite in CS2 was Sesu but I haven't seen a whole lot of him in EX In North America, I like to watch you and brkrdave (no homo) though Wuku is pretty solid but he plays Hazama mostly from what I've seen. I realized that having no passion for a character makes me go meh about a whole game. I used to play Talim in Soul Calibur 2 through 4 and (even though I skipped SC3, damn kusoge) but now she isn't in SC5 so I'm stuck with Nightmare. I mean he's pretty cool and I subbed him before but he just feels like a temporary replacement and I picked him cuz he's derp lol (think Ragna). I'm praying to Lucifer that they come out with a milf 32 year old Talim DLC... Oh and TD, why can't you watch stream archives?

'happily married' seems like a better word LOL). ps3 will freeze if l try to watch a stream. i'm limited to youtube and the like. actually, the cmv i'm in the midst of creating was originally thought to just be a compilation of fun stuff that was supposed to be streamed in one night. alas, once l get out of poverty/into college i'm gonna be streaming my ass off, l seriously still love bb and it's the only game l play for the past 2 years x.x but anyway, i'm definitely going to watch all of these rachel players
gamester Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 @Tari: Thats what I meant, godlike in terms of her personality I apologize if I sounded like I chose her out of how well she plays, kinda rushed my post when I was at College earlier today and it seemed like I caused a misunderstanding with my previous post xD I like choosing characters in a similar way as you do though, in terms of personality mainly. I find the important part of any character for me has to be the personality and when I met Rachel back in CT story mode, I just couldn't stop playing as her and it has been that way since Btw, I'm curious again xD If you all don't mind me asking. What has everyone's proudest moment been when playing as Rachel?

Herbal Grey Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 (edited) i always forget N-O but yeah he's good....i've been meaning to ask...have people looked at the difference between the combo that N-O does and the regular 6cd combos?? N-O always does 5b jc 3d j.b j.c 5b etc instead of 5b 6cd for corner carry....i never think about it myself because it would be hard for me to confirm knowing they are standing as quickly as he does, but just for knowledge's sake i also get the feeling that N-O doesn't play this game enough because he makes a lot of mistakes that are kinda dumb mistakes, like not knowing when his combos are going to work, or spacing mistakes edit: i don't have a favorite moment, but i love when i pull off difficult / swag combos in tournament or netplay Edited April 20, 2012 by Herbal Grey
Rele Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 I think he does that combo because it does better damage/prorates better and it's easier to do j.C, dash 5B, since you can do j.C a lot closer to the ground. You can also confirm it from farther away.

My heart skipped a beat when I saw it. @TD : I tried Viola when the game came out but she was pretty bad back then, the patch has made her good now. Didn't wanna go through playing a shit character again and I kinda lost my resolve to learn her right now lol, and anyway this game is just filler material until TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2 comes out. Can't fucking waittttttttt
