Chaoschao222 Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 birds have beaks not mouths, however river is an acceptable answer. A beak is still a mouth; a. The body opening through which an animal takes in food. Unless you suggestin' birds take in their food from another opening.....

Rele Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 (edited) Here's a riddle for you guys. At a FG tournament, 5 players get hungry. Since it's too late already to go to supermarket, they decide to order pizza. Each one orders one pizza. 3 guys order a salami pizza for 7,20 euro, one orders an al tonno for 8 euro and the last one a quattro formaggi for 7,80 euro. The total is therefore 37,40 euro. About 30 mins later, the pizza delivery service arrives. The players want to pay for their pizzas separately, but the delivery guy wants all the money at once, so they pay with 4 10euro banknotes. After they ate the pizza, each one gets his change money. The player who ordered the al tonno receives his 2 euros. Now there's only 60 cents left. Solve the problem. (Based on a true story - I shit you not, we puzzled around for like 15min before we figured out what was wrong - maths how does it work) Edited April 29, 2012 by Rele
TD Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 the rest of the guys get 15 cents each and hold that fucking L
Holmes Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 This is the perfect time to do my avatar justice. A truck carrying watermelons, apples and strawberries to the brim is about to take a turn. What's the first thing that falls?
Tari Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 I admit, I chuckled at both answers. /goes back to listening to Rinne OST.
Chaoschao222 Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Answer: the speed! I take all vehicle-related queries in the context of Burnout, this lowering speed concept..... what is it....?
Chaoschao222 Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 I think all answers are correct due to the lack of context and setting we were(n't) given.
TD Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 the answer does make alot of sense though. l actually "d'oh!"'d when l saw the answer. of course the speed drops first...
Chaoschao222 Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Not necessarily, let's say the truck is waiting at a red light, in this scenario the speed doesn't drop at all, and instead rises. all we know is that there is a truck, filled with fruit, preparing for a turn, by changing unknown variables, we can make any answer correct.
gli Posted May 2, 2012 Author Posted May 2, 2012 Don't worry I have Chao logic. This has to be correct Stop the presses!

Also, I actually considered writing "A speeding truck", but thought it would hint at the answer too heavily. Edited May 2, 2012 by Holmes
