Daedron Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 (edited) Actually you can. I forgot how though but you can find out with the power of google. The power of google compels me! Too bad I don't have a router that has QoS... So apparently I DO...time to get out my trusty wrench and tinker with this. Edited March 27, 2012 by Daedron
A.X.I.S. Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Don't tell them that, just tell them the new router is better. When you are trying to do something like that you are suppose to lie. I'll hop on and play some when my dad is done watching south park.
cookiehours Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 GGs to Minori. I could have played better against you. Mu takes so much work to perfect...learning matches, then mixups, then not being so free...goddamit. GGs to everyone else on my alternate account.
Daedron Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Okay...so I have no clue what to do with regards to setting up QoS on the router I have, I even downloaded the manual and...it literally doesn't even mention the most important part, it just says "click on add QoS to add a QoS rule" but then it doesn't explain the part that comes AFTER I CLICK ON IT, the part which I need to configure! ;_; /ragemode on.
toanenadiz Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Mu takes so much work to perfect...learning matches, then mixups, then not being so free...goddamit. Isn't that true for every character? Or did you have an easy time with Nu/Lambda? Okay...so I have no clue what to do with regards to setting up QoS on the router I have, I even downloaded the manual and...it literally doesn't even mention the most important part, it just says "click on add QoS to add a QoS rule" but then it doesn't explain the part that comes AFTER I CLICK ON IT, the part which I need to configure! ;_; /ragemode on. Well, most people who would use QoS probably would know what a QoS rule is so they figured they could be lazy at that point.
Remius Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 (edited) GGs to Minori. I could have played better against you. Mu takes so much work to perfect...learning matches, then mixups, then not being so free...goddamit. Works equally for every character. I used to like her alot more before she was supposedly S-Tier...Now you have to deal with The Ragna Syndrome, where everyone warms up to your shit quicker because alot more people use her. It's impossible to perfect anyone IMO. Someone else will always come by with this character you rarely play and some tactic you've never seen and wreck your shit. It's just the wonder of a good fighting game, i guess. But to be 100% honest, Mu is one of the easier characters to learn. Not as easy as she was in CS1, but almost everything about her is better now, except for the fact that i can't get 5k off a j.2C midscreen anymore. She gets ridiculous damage and her corner combos are actually pretty difficult to drop. Unless your controller turns all your 2Cs into 3Cs like mine. She has a few braindead oki setups, but back in CS1, a typical laser setup did wakeup oki for you... Edited March 28, 2012 by Remius
Star-Demon Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Yo my day was a mixture of awesome and wired. Shoutouts to finding another local Baiken but maintaining my East Coast supremacy. Hopping aand and starting stream - Room name will be 4wardHeavySlash

Mu on the other hand...well I have to stop doing stupid shit and actually finish a hit confirm. I think sometimes I get excited with a hit confirm and then drop it. Then I stare at my screen and wonder wtf just happened. Works equally for every character. Before when I started learning her in September last year, I couldn't even do that. Combo wise, she's easy but hit confirm wise and matchup wise, she's tough for me because I'm transitioning from Lambchops. I'll get her down in time. Just need to not cry at my screen when my 2C's turn to 3C'a (yes, that happens to me sometimes) and I lose for very stupid reasons. I did use Lambchops today. I miss my wheel oki. Demon Wind Bomb Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 I didn't realize Mu was such an easy character?
cookiehours Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 I didn't realize Mu was such an easy character? Combo wise, she's not too tough. Matchup wise...well it's tough to win matches with her (for me).
A.X.I.S. Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 GG's to that Noel who came to my room. GG's to SKD for having the best most trolliest funniest Ragna I have ever fought. So much swag cannot contain it. Good shit with that astroll rage quit.
Dreiko Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Mu is all about punishing mistakes with BIIIIIIG damage, if you pick your combos right and rapid the right things or space stuff properly she gets very scary very fast. She can get like 6.5K off of an air to air JC CH when near the corner.
Star-Demon Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 (edited) Shoutouts to trolling and being trolled. Dear God, if anyone was serious or playing for real tonight I'd say we're all gigantic scrubs. Shoutouts also to 3 Bars not being 3. Tonight was not fun. I want to have more fun. Edited March 28, 2012 by Star-Demon

Remius Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 (edited) I didn't realize Mu was such an easy character? Her combos are easy to do. Learning how to use her real efficiently is more about learning to use her lasers right, which is a bit different. I learn something new almost everytime i use her. The thing cookie is probably having issues with (well me anyway) is the fact that when people dont crumple to your pressure, Mu has a really, really hard time getting the ball rolling. You can zone with her and get free approaches with steins and command laser, but people who don't let you do this can generally walk over you. Aside from her range and braindead AntiAir, she's pretty slow and squishy. All Lambda needs to zone you is space, whereas Mu needs space and time. People who can beat/equal your range, or people who can shut down your zoning give her problems. This is why i hate Mu vs Lambda (too fast), Jin (too gay), Hakumen (lol drive LOL LASERSLICE) and sometimes bang (he can Drive your range and lasers, but one fuckup usually changes people's mind.). Tager is like, Mu's absolute best matchup, but even this can be a chore. Fighting tager is braindead for mu....until you get cocky and get caught, and then shit is drastically different. Even thought you can win without getting touched, that's generally what you HAVE to do. Especially now since he gets 4k off meterless combos and can Gadget Finger like, fucking everything. But this is why i still play Blazblue. Because unlike in fuckass Street Fighter, this game is built around counter strategy mechanics instead of fucking hitboxes. It's fun finding ways around issues, only for the next round to start and the person plays completely differently. I rage when i lose but I have alot of respect for this game design wise. Unless you use Jin. Mu is all about punishing mistakes with BIIIIIIG damage, if you pick your combos right and rapid the right things or space stuff properly she gets very scary very fast. She can get like 6.5K off of an air to air JC CH when near the corner. This is precisely why i started using her in the first place -- she has VERY high situational damage, and has loootsss of neat tools and traps at her disposal. Predicting correctly has great rewards with Mu, but even if you predict wrong you have alot of ways to escape pressure. I think thats why she's so attractive as a main to me. Dont_Explain Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 (edited) netplay Fucking netplay. Although that All Green was pretty good. THAT'S how you use it Star. Unless you use Jin. And Remius what character don't you hate? Edited March 28, 2012 by Dont_Explain

Yup, yup, for me she became my third sub as soon as I saw how she played despite being one of the last chars I picked up since I love yomi (i think it's probably my strongest point) and she feels the most rewarding when you yomi stuff right and go into it while having the best pickup already in mind.
Remius Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 (edited) And Remius what character don't you hate? Kokono- Edit: ACTUALLY....you know what, Litchi is one. I never really enjoyed fighting her, especially during CS because of how broken she was, but she has some of the coolest looking combo flow ive seen in a fighting game. Star-Demon Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Fucking netplay. Although that All Green was pretty good. THAT'S how you use it Star. Yeah this week I decided to finally start using it on proper punishes. :P
Dreiko Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Can't you Ryuissho now right after tsubame gaeshi for some lulzy damage and some epic cool points? I could swear I've been hit by that one time XD.
Delrian Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Yeah this week I decided to finally start using it on proper punishes. :P But you're still throwing it out randomly, stop that. Use it EXCLUSIVELY as a punish (read: reaction). In other news, GGs to you and that other guy in your room.

Star-Demon Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 But you're still throwing it out randomly, stop that. Use it EXCLUSIVELY as a punish (read: reaction). Not as much random. I'm slow and old, so I miss a lot of punishes - lol. Yes, I fucked around a lot tonight? You not see my 6 matches of blocking dumb shit and failing?
