Leonil_Requiem Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 You also learned to finish combos instead of burst baiting 100% of the time, LOL! GG's bro. must of watched to many of my matches ( ._.)
Jyosua Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 ggs to everyone in my room. today i learned that any experience and skill you have with blocking in reality is thrown right out the fucking window when playing in PSN I really didn't believe people about this, and then I played Romey today... fuck. Man, those overheads were projected a mile away, I block... and netopurei says no. I also got some of the weirdest fucking moves to come out when I was trying to hitconfirm into a corner combo.
Leonil_Requiem Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 GGs to TD... think about what we talked about :U
Star-Demon Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 GG's to everyone in KayEff's room. Lesson of the day: Do not play fighting games when you've been awake for more than 42+ hours... you will hate life. I'm going into a coma, L8R guys. GOOD ADVICE. I AM TAKING THAT SHIT.
Zeron_X25 Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 You also learned to finish combos instead of burst baiting 100% of the time, LOL! GG's bro. LOL
XDest Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 GG's to everyone in KayEff's room. Lesson of the day: Do not play fighting games when you've been awake for more than 42+ hours... you will hate life. I'm going into a coma, L8R guys. I've played BB with 4-5 days no sleep a few times. Then again, I'm an insomniac.
Chris Chaos Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 GG's Jason900 and Nineball. Sorry I couldn't host or play more but I got tricked into taking this girl to the movies today... I nearly forgot, LOL! I've played BB with 4-5 days no sleep a few times. Then again, I'm an insomniac. Yeah being an insomniac will do that.
BatousaiJ Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Doing some rusty casuals after not playing for 2 weeks or so again, who wants to press some buttons?
Star-Demon Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Doing some rusty casuals after not playing for 2 weeks or so again, who wants to press some buttons? Let us push buttons
BatousaiJ Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 (edited) Let us push buttons Reinvite. I was playing cookie. Edit- Nevermind, off now. GGs to cookie and randoms that I played with. To answer your question cookie, try not to do the two things you mentioned as much and also don't let Tsu get charge for free, you let me sit there getting full 2D charge off(3 bars) a bunch of times and when I've got a lot of charges stacked up, I can do a lot of things(like going through your orb with 214D and etc) to make your life difficult. If you see me charging, dash in with 5C/6C since that normal has such a good reach and also I'd like to see you implement throwing into your game as out of the 6 matches we played, you did not attempt to ground throw me once which is odd since there were times I was being very defensive to try to IB > DP out of your gatling gaps. Make sure you're always setting up steins for maximum oki pressure after each knock down and play better footsie especially in the air where you should be dominating Tsu with your superior normals(2C/j.C/j.2C). There are some character specifics like when my pressure has the biggest hole and where I can gatling into overheads and what not but that's all frame data stuff you can look up if you're interested or simply just play more against Tsu players to learn them hands-on. Hope that helps. Edited April 21, 2012 by BatousaiJ

Kriegdrache Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Batosai is gonna DP you anyway. GGs to Shruikon. He olev Valk <3

toanenadiz Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Shouldn't a max-range Mu 5C be out of the range of Tsubaki's DP?
Dont_Explain Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 A real Mu player goes in there balls deep with 2A. Fuck 5C.
Zeron_X25 Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 DE where are those bang mirrors you promised? i don't even play this game
Dont_Explain Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 We had them the other day. We were both just like "I wanna fucking command grab x N and make it work." You must remember all that derp.
BatousaiJ Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 ...I was scared that if I dashed in when you were charging, you would freaking DP me before I even got 5C out. You are right about the other stuff. Even if I do DP you, there isn't much I can do off of it so that's just a risk/reward you're going to have to take. Batosai is gonna DP you anyway. I've made a mental list of stuff I'm gonna do to you when I play you again for all your indiscretion lately, krieg- look forward to it~ Shouldn't a max-range Mu 5C be out of the range of Tsubaki's DP? Ya, the DP would just whiff on max 5C since the hit box isn't very good.
Dont_Explain Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Ya, the DP would just whiff on max 5C since the hit box isn't very good. At first I was like, "I'm sure it's more Mu being 20 feet away" then I then I remembered Ragna's Inferno Divider.
cookiehours Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Even if I do DP you, there isn't much I can do off of it so that's just a risk/reward you're going to have to take. Oh...well the more I learn then. :3
StayFree( ' 3') Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 GG's E_Aibion, H_Tiger, Nedel, dire, and anyone else that joined my room. You guys kept it interesting for sure. Manage to go 50-6 for dat netplay powerup but the last few reminded me of Makoto's shortcoming. xD Like only being able to DP once every 50 matches you play. dem mokoto nerfs DE where are those bang mirrors you promised? i don't even play this game Someone want'a spicy bang mirror?? Make way, I'm headin online
TD Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 ...I was scared that if I dashed in when you were charging, you would freaking DP me before I even got 5C out. You are right about the other stuff. l told you yesterday, dont (over)think! just go in with the first thing that comes to mind. while this may seem counterproductive at first, the point of getting hit is to evaluate the situation. it's not hard to put two and two together in many cases (a prime example, if you know the foe uses tsubaki 236c from fullscreen and you got hit the first time, you should be fully expecting it in the future. people tend to subconsciously fall into patterns, and these patterns are the key to evaluating your opponent.) which is why, IMO extended sets against people are important for getting better and learning MU's. sure you might go 50-0 as an extreme example, but if you learned something from the set, you also won. you should never go into a match thinking you wont win. welp that's my two pennies for the day, off to the lab~ Zeron_X25 1

I understand what you're saying. I saw what I did wrong against Batousai. I rushed in and didn't use the air/5C to my advantage.
Zeron_X25 Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 God...I do overthink a lot don't I? Sadly, you're the type that underthinks a lot. If that makes any sense.
