[CSE] PSN Match Finder/GG Thread

I just tested some Bubble oki crap. A Bubble will actually work as true oki, it will catch back rolls and it will actually hit you as soon as you wake up. B Bubble works to avoid the two Yukikazes, parry, and Counter and to catch back rolls, it also disappears quickly for re-use. C Bubble works to catch jump out attempts.

I've always just used B Bubble since it disappears quickly. I'll mix it up from now depending on how I condition my opponents lol.

It's ok to mash from time to time, you might learn something new that way lol.

Edit: Sweet Jesus, what have I been doing all this time? Bubble A catches back rolls, jump out attempts, and works as true oki. Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnngh...

C Bubble is pretty much obsolete then lol.

Yeah 2A is pretty strong. I underestimated it's ability to save me. I think I have a hard time mashing on wakeup cause the whole point of me being on the ground is them getting oki. It's like "Yeah I see you above me dude, that's cool and all, but tbh I DON'T GIVE A FUCK." Specfically for Ragna it would be ok to 2A every now and then cause of the fact Inferno Divider exists. Scare people and get a free pressure cause they tried to bait.

I think I just suck at mixing it up. I'm trying to throw more, but at the same time mixup the pressure. I only 6B'd like 4 or 5 times I think. I rarely use Gauntlet Hades either. I think I just need to revisit the lab and just press buttons.

Well no more mashing for you on wake-up, I just found out that Bubble A works as true oki; you'll get hit if you try to mash and you'll get caught if you try to roll out or jump out. All that you have left is ID and GB in this situation lol.

I'm just glad you're playing Ragna like Ragna and not like Lambda or something lol. You're using ID like you should. You can get away with silly stuff like wake-up 2A because if exists, just like you said lol.

Sadly bubble moves faster than CS2 which hurt me.

I will use delay A bubble just to see.

I need to work on my confirms, neutral (this so much), and beating abare ;; my mixup is weak too

You're pretty good at anti airs and pressure. And even though your neutral needs work, your keepaway is fine. Taokaka's mixup is weak in general, unless the opponent is in the corner your options are pretty limited. But that's not supposed to be Tao's strong suit anyways.

You definitely need to work on confirms and damage, this is the main thing. Sit down in training mode until it's a habit. You're not even crouch confirming half the time, and it's really hurting you. If you counter hit me with something other than j.D or 2A, I should be losing 3-4k every time. If it's in the corner and you have meter, more than that.

I had a few questions about the confirms, after j.4d CH's, whats the safest way to confirm it? Should I do j.4d~b or do j.4d~c j.c/j.2b ? Also for crouch confirms, do you visually confirm 5b into 6a or do you auto pilot it and just jump cancel 6a when its blocked? Oh yeah and for 6C in neutral, was the confirm you were using 5d~b 5c etc?

I meant crouch confirms later on, when it becomes 5C -> 2C -> 6C. Things like 5B -> 6A you kind of have to guess, it's not easy to crouch confirm that early in. j.4D~A is kind of hard to react to afterwards if blocked, so I usually do that. Then depending on how that hits, I go on from there. After that it's your usual standing/crouching combo options.

And yeah, CH 6C -> 5D~B -> 5C -> stuff is the easy confirm I use there. It's not optimal, but it's still 4k. There's a lot of higher damage variants, but that is pretty consistent.

Not much of a difference from before, to be honest. What have you done other than tell me to go watch shounen and then frustrate me with your stoic and unsympathetic attitude? If you want me to kiss your ass for no reason for nothing other than that you choose to grace me with your presence, then go ahead and be elitist elsewhere. You sound stuck up and unhelpful whenever you've posted anything towards me. So much for that passionate post you made about a month ago.
