yes cookie, you will lose if you do the same stuff over and over

Posted
l see. well, l wouldn't go too deep into me not picking rach. i've had quite a few people tell me l was sandbagging for not using her/picking chars i'm not extremely good with like carl or tager and get really mad, but listen, l learned other chars so l dont have to play the same one all the time. l want to choose characters on a whim, like a free spirit should. it's great that i'm known for my rach, but really, l like to branch out sometimes, do different things and have loads of fun you know? and it was fun playing you earlier. :P ggs to kaiserCS.

I get what you mean i do that too and i wasn't mad at all just surprised, i just rarely play any variety matches with players that are REALLY good, or gdlk with a character. but what was getting on me was that i kept getting the usual players in my lobby like i always do. i don't learn anything really except "learn to deal with BB netpray". as for when i play Moy it's like i gotta keep up 24/7 or i just wrecked period.

Another thing is that i just realized the reason i'm really good is that I know advanced stuff but not the fundamentals and it got to me. so i could blown up anytime. I enjoyed that i loss because i just need to learn more that's all.

Go ahead and pick on me. I love when elitists act as if everyone is completely beneath them. The thing is...I couldn't do anything. But you know, I suck at this game. Go ahead and troll everyone.

Sitting there and constantly losing is NOT fun. But whatever.

how... was that trolling :v: cookie you do 6b alot as an example... (and l mean, alot lol) it's just helping you out. just accept it and learn your lesson, no one's out to 'get' you. XD

@crossfire anytime you wanna play just let me know

I read that in a "meta knight" kinda tone. . . >.>

Been awhile since I was reminded of Brawl.

But yeah fundamentals are like Ragna's best friend. I think I just recently remembered that and I started doing better. I mean j.C is amazing, but you have to know how to use other moves too. Solid ground game is important.

This is one of those moments where you have to take what he said with a pinch of salt (or is the saying a grain of salt? I'm too tired right now.), cause LK wouldn't just call you out like that for no reason.

Losing is hella fun what're you on? it just give you push you need. moping about you being bad at something isn't a great thing. Practice.

....Losing to pokes and stupid chains is learning. ok.

Except that I'm not that bad.

D-E i have good ground game. but i just resort to jumping too much. i think waaayyy to much when i fight rather than focus on reflexive things like AA instantly or like that. i feel jerky

@TD: sure thanks for the heads up

If you're willing to learn from it, it can be.

But if you're not willing to, it won't be.

Are you guys serious. Everytime I tried to react or do something, moves just didn't come out.

Well if you have a good ground game then you shouldn't need j.C as much. I tend to over think too. I mean you want to move forward w/o getting hit but at the same time do stuff to keep them scared and that's probably my biggest problem. Just gotta get better judgement I guess. That comes from experience.

you say that as if it's not. when in fact it's one of the best ways. tell me, what is your ideal way of learning something in a fighting game, then? l really would like to know. btw, it's only stupid if you don't know what to do. SAVE your replays. all you need to know to start is understand what you got hit by, and what you were doing at that moment! very simple, and takes hardly any effort.

Then you need to learn when netplay is being shit, so you will in turn know when to just give up because nothing you do matters.

It's LK cookie if you were expecting to win. . .uhhhhhh yeah you know

but seriously it's Litchi. Her range is too good. if you were using Mu-12 just 5C>6C to back off. she has a DP that works like a barrier burst (shit is Gdlk btw, should give Ragna that along with his 5B being JC or some shit).

i'm not that good at breaking down fights if i don't see em. you can only learn so much at one time

@D-E. i gotcha, i guess i just compare myself all the time to that of Kaqn or Saka all the time.

I was trying to fucking block. Or at least use some way to counter what he was doing. I am not THIS hapless.

Except it wasn't Litchi. It was Hazama.

If Ragna's 5B was JC......you crazy, crazy man.

And isn't 6C with Mu really minus and gives a free approach? I think you can cancel into something else, but for the most part it's not good for block strings iirc.

Cookie, 2C is your best friend in that matchup, USE THE FUCK OUT OF IT

@D-E give put some steins or cancel into her Half circle

EDIT: i'm serious if that shit was JC or at least can chain into 6C. sometimes i use at the end of a block string and i'm like "oh yeah it's a poke. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF- :eng101:

Today was a BB day. Dropped so many inputs. I couldn't even do a simple 236B->5DD->236C combo. I need to give up and using that controller for BB and just mash out in MvC3.

Sorry for wasting your time today Vice, Shin, Cookie and everyone else.

Although I liked how I joined xntrikcat's room and he instantly closes it. I just never catch him at a good time.

Fight me.

I wasn't at home nor had access to a 360 copy of BB or else I would have played you. But that probably would've mellowed me out, not increase my salt.
