mAc Chaos Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 How can Makoto have it that bad against Lambda. She's fast and agile.
Bibiquadium Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 If you can't get close to your prey, this renders as useless. The matchup is literally to get in her face, don't give her breathing space and once in the corner its GG, but if you fuck up you fuck up.
mAc Chaos Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 That's like the matchup everybody has against Lambda.
Bibiquadium Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Except that other characters has better options against her. I could name them if I must. While Makoto has little to no options.
Errol Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Makoto has some options. Better than tsubaki's anyway.
kodimt Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Everyone should just have a battle royale against Toan and see who does the worst. That'll solve it.
toanenadiz Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 It would make more sense to have them fight a better Lambda than me.
Bibiquadium Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Tsubaki has 214D Hakumen doesn't give a damn about Projectiles, Most chracters with decent projectiles and control over the stage has less chance of getting lamed out. Okay I can 3C the ground spikes from a close distance, but I'll probably get CH'd because its netplay after all. Parry? Please everyone knows that you don't parry projectiles. All I have left is blocking and monopolize on a whiff. And apparently I have to block on prediction instead of reaction, which I don't find to be a legitimate thing. Either way, I have played good Lamdas offline and I know my grounds and know what to consider as bs or not. With all that said, this concludes my conversation on this matter. Netplay is netplay and will always remain netplay, hence why I shouldn't take any if this seriously. Conversation done. -Bibiquadium
toanenadiz Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 I wasn't talking about netplay though...I was seriously interested in what someone who doesn't main Lambda thought about specific ways other characters avoided getting lamed out, especially since you probably play against Nedel.
Bibiquadium Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 I do and also seen him play against Yucorp's Haku and Lvl5's Tsubaki and Relius and many things made it seem that its not as bad as some may think.

Makoto has: 3c, which is good for things besides spike chaser Parry j2c and JD for delaying landing Damage without needing to charge A higher jump which lets her normal jump over spikechaser easier BBS I definitely think this matchup sucks but she has way more tools than tsubaki to use in it. On the other hand the makoto vs noel matchup is total ass and the tsubaki vs noel one is a lot better.
Sadeyo Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Couldn't find nothing decent on P4U so does anyone want to go a few rounds in this game? Thinking about just playing Rags for now unless someone is in the mood to go against my lambda (she's like a D threat).
Errol Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 tao on the other hand feels equally terrible on makoto and tsubaki.
psycofang2 Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 bang is an unrestricted character. he does whatever he wants to everyone and anyone. except hakumen, cuz shit never works on hakumen.
Moy_X7 Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 It would make more sense to have them fight a better Lambda than me. > Implying that there's a Lambda player who's better than you and still plays this game Pretty much all of the people that post here are what's left of the PSN community, that and some randoms lol I don't think I've played a stronger Lambda than you though, HK was pretty strong but I didn't play him enough to really tell who was the better Lambda.
Errol Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 GGs to Toan. lambda god of psn. Starting to hate tao more than lambda though.
mAc Chaos Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 I do and also seen him play against Yucorp's Haku and Lvl5's Tsubaki and Relius and many things made it seem that its not as bad as some may think. Well, I look at it pretty simply. If Hakumen can get in on Lambda, then it should be much better for Makoto, right? I am assuming her pressure as a rushdown character would be good at handling Lambda up close too.
toanenadiz Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Apparently Bang is good vs Lambda too. Zeth disagrees with that. HK is better than me, even now. And there are some good Lambda who don't post on DL. Starting to hate tao more than lambda though. I'm starting to love Tao more than Lambda. If only I could get those Gio confirms down. Well, I look at it pretty simply. If Hakumen can get in on Lambda, then it should be much better for Makoto, right? mAc Chaos Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 (edited) but but! how is that possible Edited June 22, 2013 by mAc Chaos
