LuminAbyss Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 But Mac, we will never understand the way they think!
mAc Chaos Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 They're like Kiritsugu. They have to cast aside their inner selves to pursue an ideal. What a sacrifice.
LuminAbyss Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Remember kids. You could always pick Ragna and be set for life. Top-tier or not they always win.
Kriegdrache Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Shoutouts to Bangs trying to Purple Throw me Shoutouts to Bangs managing to purple throw me when Im 2Ding their steel rain Shoutouts to fun games with random Tsubakis Shoutouts to Ranked <3 They're like Kiritsugu. They have to cast aside their inner selves to pursue an ideal. What a sacrifice. And then Kotomine comes along and beats them with the character they were using last version.
Chris Chaos Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Who cares who the player picks! If that player is winning, so the fuck what... Last I checked tier whoring wasn't breaking the rules of the game so either do one of two things: 1) Body the person you call a tier whore and expose them for the fraud you believe them to be, you better not lose since you're calling them out or you'll be the fraud 2) Win tournaments with whatever character you're using (better be a mid-tier character or lower) which leads back to No.1 Seriously... why complain if you can do something about it. White, if its getting you that upset, body Omni at the next tournament and let your playing do the talking otherwise you are just as (if not more) fraudulent as the one you are calling out. Fuck the bullshit, play him and you best show up with your A-game! Best not get exposed nigga.
Linear04 Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 1) Body the person you call a tier whore and expose them for the fraud you believe them to be, you better not lose since you're calling them out or you'll be the fraud nah bro you got that low tier os
Kriegdrache Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 If that doesnt work, "I don't even play this game" is just as good.
MashThat5A Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 No shame in it, the thing that bothers me is their complaints, he did it for Skullgirls why not do it for blazblue and use Ragna I'm pretty sure Valentine isn't considered top tier. Omni just has that superior mid/mid mixup.
floatwater Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 I'm pretty sure Valentine isn't considered top tier. Omni just has that superior mid/mid mixup. She's not, her damage output is lowest in the game. It's just those GREEN VILE SETUPS YO, and she has fuzzies
mAc Chaos Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 If that doesnt work, "I don't even play this game" is just as good. What about "I have to adjust to playing without lag".
susano Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Is it me or do I find Taokaka's mixups hard to block? Sorry Neo but after fighting you three times and not knowing what the hell was going on, I got a bit depressed. I really have to stop trying to chicken block...

toanenadiz Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Is it me or do I find Taokaka's mixups hard to block? Pretty sure it is both. But I don't find her mix-up that hard to block (ignoring my personal issues with throws). It's getting out her pressure that gives me issues.
susano Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) ...Okay? Pretty sure it is both. But I don't find her mix-up that hard to block (ignoring my personal issues with throws). It's getting out her pressure that gives me issues. She reminds me of those damn cats in Ninja Gaiden. And yes, her pressure is annoying to escape from. I rarely fight Taos so I guess I'll need the experience. I fight Hakus, Tagers, and Ragnas with the occasional Hazama. :T Edited June 12, 2012 by susano
toanenadiz Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 It going to be hard to get that experience. There is pretty much just Gio and XDest, with like one or two more wild Tao online.
OmniSScythe Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 The OmniSScythe School of Tier whoring..err fun not but really you guys get called out for tier whoring all the time especially you knight if not that you guys are known as complainers no shame in tier whoring if youre going to win right Me and LK were call out on tier whoring? Is it a that shame both of us has been known to sub a good chunk of the cast in any version? In any game we've played? Complaining about ASW balancing is unique to us? My mind is so~ full of fucks right now. Hes known to complain a lot about Makoto all the time and i've seen this myself Im going to force him to make the switch already as most American and Japanese CS2 Makoto players have That is bullshit what do you mean he wasn't feeling them, you choose whoever is good and win tournaments although I understand Valk is a bit difficult to use which probably discouraged him but the point is, Daigo did it, Tokido has been doing it since he first began, hell every pro player does it. You choose top tier and win tournaments simple as that. Unless you stick to the character you like, suck it up, and train. ...It's like playing for the love of the game is unheard of with this guy. FYI I've subbed Hakuman since CT and Valk since release, any character I found that had interesting combos I've practice with at some point time so I can actually use 80% of the cast. This is how Tokido, JWong, Marlin etc reach top 8 in every other game if youve noticed they pick the cheapest easiest characters learn their normals, combos and enter these tournaments. No shame in it, the thing that bothers me is their complaints, he did it for Skullgirls why not do it for blazblue and use Ragna How long as you been playing fighters competitively? Because if you honestly those guys got where they are today by picking a top tier and not by going through tons of trials and tribulations then you're better off just remaining a silent stream monster. Valentine is a mid tier character at best which I've picked due to my attraction to Kunoichi's or woman of similar nature. Double despite being the best character wasn't even remotely interesting to me in till I heard the beat her barrel loop combos makes. Funny how that worked out. he should definitely try rachel. who needs shenanigans when you have the fastest, safest overhead in the game. and pumpkin. I've wanted to use her since CT, but even Carl clicked more to me than she did.
susano Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 It going to be hard to get that experience. There is pretty much just Gio and XDest, with like one or two more wild Tao online. That's why I added Neo, that way I don't keep spinning like a retard when she flies over my head.
Lord Knight Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 The OmniSScythe School of Tier whoring..err fun not but really you guys get called out for tier whoring all the time especially you knight if not that you guys are known as complainers no shame in tier whoring if youre going to win right wut
mAc Chaos Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 FYI I've subbed Hakuman since CT I remember playing against it once in ranked. I definitely think he's different than the usual kinds of characters you use though, since you always like to run around and do crossunders and getting random j.A into combos and things like that. I feel like I would have an easy time dealing with your pressure as Hakumen since it's all pretty straightforward, whereas with Jin and Makoto I was always wondering what was going to happen next. Then again, Baiken always gave me the most trouble with Jin. Maybe you'd surprise me with Hakumen. It all comes down to the skill of the player so you could manage it.
Yggjrasil Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Omni choosing Valentine because of the same reasons I did. Props to you, mah nigga.
toanenadiz Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 What did Omni do to White to get such hate? And did I miss something or is this the first time White is posting in this thread?
OmniSScythe Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) He saw a few of us in the Makoto forums making small talk about Makoto's current version and he took it as a bunch of salty tier whores whining. ...something like that. I remember playing against it once in ranked. Yeah Hakumen is definitely one of the characters that doesn't fit my play style at all. But it's fun as hell watching someone play differently than usually due to the threat of a counter. lol Edited June 12, 2012 by OmniSScythe
