Feel like it might help if I could fight someone who actually uses the character, but the only other Makoto's I've ever seen were newer and somehow even worse than me, if that's possible(how, I don't even)

Didn't even care if I won or lost anymore near the end of it. Edit: Ah he's on Dustloop, I tried so many ways to see if I could do anything in air, probably shouldn't have but I just wanted to see if anything could ever beat Tao in air. lol

Edit: Yeah Tao's neutral is definitely her strong point. As you saw your item toss is a bit of a gamble. It works a lot like vs Lambda's 2D/6D. If I run up 6C, 5D, or j.4D during it you're going to get hit and it's going to hurt. It does stop me from moving around in certain places and limits my movement since I have to be aware of it. Your j.C will beat me in certain situations, but if I j.D~B first I'm probably still going to beat it out. Trying to beat out Tao's air-to-air or air-to-ground requires something well-timed, or a risk usually. If you want more matches to learn the matchup, I'd be glad to give them to you. I've been known to do 50-100 1v1 match sets sometimes. Edited May 15, 2013 by XDest

There were tons of combos I missed since I've been too lazy to really learn any advanced Platinum combos, since I plan on switching mains once CP hits. Will learn the hell out of Bullet though. Anyways, good games, your Tao is definately the best I've seen. Edit: ^ It'll be fun to play you again, I'm usually on around this time if you ever want to join.
