Ok, is Raging Lion A safe on block or depends?

I kinda think that meaty B version is plus on block, namely after 214C, but heck it's unsafe because it's easy to react against.

Safe on block. Against people without a 6 frame normal (like Mitsuru) you can actually hit buttons after it unless they instant block it, in my experience.

Speaking of which, I noticed an easy situation you can go for the late hit meaty 214A/A+B so you can combo after with no meter. After 214D if you dash and do it immediately (and they teched immediately) you'll get the late hit/block.

Data Thread and Wikipedia Page has been updated with Frame Data. I'm still looking onto the SP percentages so those aren't filled in yet. As far as everything else, it's been filled in. Take a look and if there are any issues with the pages, let me know and I'll make the changes necessary.

SP Values you'll have to do the old fashion way. Do a move 10 times and divide by 10. Some moves may be hard to get so just get the total it does if it's a multi-hit.

Interesting stuff off frame data:

5A has 5 active frames, so it's pretty neat for meaty/OS attempts on opponents. If you perfectly meaty it, you'll be safe against 12f startup reversals.

On Naoto's, it's much more easier due to her startup on the shot.

214A is -2 on block. Yu's fastest move is 5A, 5f startup. So it's kinda safe against characters who doesn't have sub-7f startup moves, like Yukiko and Teddie. Of course, watch for invincible moves.

214B is +3 on block, so it's kinda safe to use 5A afterwards. I believe you get more frames if you manage to meaty it.

D Zio is +9 on block, so you can pretty much to anything safely. However, it's preferable to leave some space to safely bait reversals.

Also, Kanji's DP won't hit you if your Persona attacks, right? At least this is true for Akihiko. Not sure for Yu.

That's good to know...

Btw, why is backwards IAD off 5AAA so weird? Apparently it has additional momentum for some reason.

I looked at the combo section and all of the combos ended with a super, are there any meterless combos that do 5k+ or is this character's damage output just not that good?

Are these even useful in this game? Yes, probably to catch quick-escape mashers.

Frametraps

1-frame

5A> 2AB

5A> 5C

5A> 236C

5A> 214CD (lol why would you do this)

5B/2B> 214C

5C> 214D

2-frame

5B/2B> 236CD

3-frame

2A> 5C

2A> 2AB

5C> 2C

5A> 214C

4-frame

5A> 236CD

5-frame

5B/2B> 2C

5C> 214AB

I think that's all... I'd remove stupid stuff like unsafe enders, but idk, someone might be able to discover something useful.

Somewhat safe AoA setups?

Yu's AoA has armor property on the 15th frame until the 24th, which is the startup (the frame that hits).

So in order to auto-guard Reversals and mashing attempts, and being safe, you'll want your AoA armor to come out as soon as the blockstun ends.

I found that 5B delay 5AB is the best for countering both mashing and reversals.

If I didnt delay the AoA, some reversals like Mitsuru's would beat me clean.

I'm retarded, but how much is 2C after a dash cancel forward? Checking frame data, I don't think it's listed (maybe I over looked it?).

-5, i believe.

Friends, let us take a moment.

After becoming moderator at Mayonaka Midnight, SuperKawaiiDesu, also known as SKD, began to set his sights towards greater ambitions, the Presidency of Esports. I know it may seem like he has abandoned you in the past in favor of Mayonaka Midnight, but rest assured that this is not the case. SKD has great things planned for our great Esports, and we'll need more than Mayonaka Midnight's support if we want to achieve our goals. For those that are unconvinced, I ask that you look at our platform:
