SoWL Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 By the way, I suppose that Litchi and Arakune are going to be included into sector 7 for the sake of the BGM. I mean, having it for three characters isn't that different from simply having a VS theme. lol, forgot the at the end of my statement (it was 4am) if anyone thinks that I of all people advocated H, then man, Humanity Has Declined indeed... = w= You just had to write that in italics, hadn't you?

D: Weak Executioner is my favorite special theme orz (just barely beating Imperial Code--which I was hoping would be the Assassins-esque theme of BB, seeing how many NOL members there were...and the fact it's listed as Theme of the NOL/Jin vs Noel) You just had to write that in italics, hadn't you? = w= Edited September 23, 2012 by SolxBaiken
BladeOfJustice7 Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 You mean Weak Executioner, not Thin Red Line right?
.:TM:. Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Nah the amount of remixed songs means weak executionner is still in. Litchi might not even be considered a sector seven character anymore.
SolxBaiken Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Yes, derp Thin Red Line is actually pretty low on my list (but I like the name) unless it's that funky mix by DJ Oh-No, lol

Kinda like if you turn on the GGX tracks in the later versions of GG and fight as Millia vs Eddie.

Litchi might not even be considered a sector seven character anymore. Millia ditched the Assassin's Order but she was still considered part of them since Existence played whenever she was up against Eddie, Sayer, venom. In actuality the only actual member of the Assassin's Order was Venom; Slayer was the ex-leader/founder, Millia ditched/betrayed them, and Zato-1 is dead Eddie just wants a new body and gives no fucks.
.:TM:. Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Uh...so? That's in Guilty Gear, this is Blazblue and a different situation.
SolxBaiken Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Hmm I don't think BB should have such a huge umbrella theme covering a good chunk of matchups, honestly the Special themes feel a bit clustered (especially assuming all the Extend tracks stick). Hell, we might as well have The Fugitive (Ragna vs the World)

Hell, we might as well have The Fugitive (Ragna vs the World) Lol well the BB universe has a lot more closure than most fighters. Most of the characters know each other or know something about each other and as the game goes on it creates more ties between all the characters. It's something I really enjoy about the series.
SolxBaiken Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 True but I just don't feel each reaches the true heights of intrigue to warrant these themes... Honestly, I would much rather prefer them to work on more special battle intros, those are always more hype IMO, and I'm STILL waiting for ones that match the intros in XX (the story mode of XX...)
Mightfo Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 so do we actually know if old music and stages are going to be thrown away or do we just have numbers of new/remixed stuff

Honestly, I would much rather prefer them to work on more special battle intros, those are always more hype IMO, and I'm STILL waiting for ones that match the intros in XX (the story mode of XX...) Lets discuss which characters deserve themes with each other guys. 6 Heroes for me is a given, NOL too but not S7. Also Ragna v.s Hakumen, but Jin v.s Noel isn't necessary at this point in the story personally. That's all I could come up with for now. so do we actually know if old music and stages are going to be thrown away or do we just have numbers of new/remixed stuff I'm willing to bet ct stages will be removed, but cs stages can be unlocked or something in console versions. By old you mean, the original songs? because that would constitute to way too much data I think, that and why would you listen to the original version of said characters theme when there's the remixed version there in the game that will probably sound better anyways than the original. This is my guess based off GG and ArcSys.

"way too much data"?? Songs are a tiny amount of data in perspective of modern video games. Remixes often aren't better.
YoYoCheese Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 so do we actually know if old music and stages are going to be thrown away or do we just have numbers of new/remixed stuff Mori mentioned a little while back that the only stage returning from past stages is Rachel's.
.:TM:. Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 He did but it's possible the consoles versions might get old stages. It's retarded that old stages don't get included anyways, very silly and pointless move.
6Raven Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 (edited) ^ Agreed & not much info released on the stream....sucks >_< the game may be released on November http://www.4gamer.net/games/178/G017851/20120923023/ Edited September 23, 2012 by 6Raven

The game not out yet For all of what we know, they could be time locked releases or something like that And even if they are not in, BB wouldn't be the 1st fg to drop characters between a versions Edited September 23, 2012 by Hecatom
mAc Chaos Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 The fact that they're not sure about 360 release is just weird.
WolfCrimson Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 The fact that they're not sure about 360 release is just weird. Did they mean in Japan or internationally?
Kyosuke Kagami Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Japan, probably. dem japanese devs dun give 2 shits about occidental lands
mAc Chaos Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Well... if they're going to go through the trouble of making it for 360, I don't see why they wouldn't just release it in Japan too... but only if they actually were planning to make it.

Is simple really, if the sells of the game are not enough to cover the costs of releasing developing and releasing a 360 version of the game on japan, is the more intelligent thing to not do it
SolxBaiken Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Let's play a game! Japanese sales over the course of the first 10 weeks__________ Calamity Trigger - PS3 (55,469), 360 (35,976), PSP (22,515) Continuum Shift - PS3 (71,836), 360 (19,640), PSP (49,609), 3DS (12,716) Continuum Shift Extend - PS3 (58,549), 360 (?), PSP (9,791), Vita (15,958) *actually couldn't find Japanese 360 sales for Extend.
