sektr Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 *sigh* I just get back into fighting games, go out and pick up EX for my 360 in anticipation of CP, and 3 days later hear they have no intentions of releasing a 360 version of the game??? Like seriously? Fuuuckkkk offff... Makes me so mad, there's more than enough 360 community to support the release... I've been hearing CP is completely different from EX as far as pacing goes, like much similar to GG in that you spend far more time in neutral and combos tend to be shorter/less damaging. Faster paced overall. Any merit to those claims?

Uh, you do realize that's a poor argument, right? Even people with jobs have trouble justifying a console purchase for one game.

Just make sure you can read katakana. Not an issue for me, though anyone with 20 minutes can memorize every single one.

916zking Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 just get a JPN PSN card, tons of import shops and hobbyist sell them, also the direct credit card option is out (unless you somehow own a Japanese credit card o.o) I think the JPN PSN also does paypal, which will convert dollar > yen for you.

Please, pray tell, if you want to play BBCP, what other options are there at hand that are just as if not more cost efficient. Playing a friend's copy doesn't count since we're talking about owning the game or at the very least being able to play it whenever you had the chance to.

And furthermore using "lack of job" as essentially an insult is very insensitive and mean-spirited considering the current economy. The only way I can see justifying exclusivity is if the game is made by the console maker (like Nintendo for instance) or if there's been a distribution agreement. Otherwise this comes off as ASW and Aksys basically being lazy or dumb.

They have three other projects to finish as of now. Xrd, +R patch (Admittedly doesn't take much, but it's still a thing) and that new series they intend for the PS4. They may just simply think it not to be an effective use of their resources to make a 360 variation at this time.

Whether it's due to confusion with the DLC and/or incorrect math on Aksys' part or trolling on ASW's part is up for debate~

I refuse to believe they aren't gonna use the Amaterasu crest thingy for a character this time around.

I'd mentally conflated "roster 'fully' revealed", "no DLC characters", and the list of new characters in the article to mean "all playable characters are revealed by now and there won't be more." So optimistically we could take this to mean: - There aren't additional (noteworthy) characters (NPCs or otherwise?) that we haven't seen yet. - #26 is among the characters we've seen up to this point. - #26 can be unlocked in-game(?)

You're right, any solution other than buying a new console is out of our hands. That doesn't stop the situation from being shitty and people are angry about it. Just let people vent. One solution i am hoping for is that it gets released for PS4 as well (and not just gaikai shit either). There is more reason for me to invest in a PS4 than a PS3 at this point. Another thing to consider is that apart from having to buy a new console, they'll have to buy a new stick if they use one as well, just for one game. Or at least spending money to mod it to work on ps3.

Well it's no solution, but if all you care about is the story (like me) just youtube the vids. I know for a fact once the game is released they'll be plenty of videos on youtube. Save yourself $50.
