This. I'm totally impatient, and...

I can't tell if this is you being genuinely confused, or teasing us because you know something we don't. :gonk:

lol. I honestly didn't know this. I never really paid attention to the backgrounds in the CP videos I've seen (always ice stage). I'm admittedly pretty fraudulent when it comes to BBCP news outside of the characters I play.

WE WANT IT NOW STAYFREE

too much peer pressure!... :vbang:

Just note that it won't be done by 'till around 2pm pst since I'm scheduled to get a call from aksys to follow up on the interview and fill in some of the gaps in their statements.

Well, if you want to stayfree, why don't you get a bit of that interview up?

....I'm going to burn for an eternity!

Ya sure those weren't from the Arcade Stories? I know that some of the story fights use the old stages, but I haven't seen them other then that?

damn' date=' what happen to good ol' trust now-a-days?[/quote']

Because I know they aren't in the current version of the game, I'm hoping they'll add in more stages for the console version

Oh some of the story fights use old stages? But they aren't select-able in versus? I havent watched any story/arcade stuff

Too many trolls or people making mistakes on what they see/hear.

Wait, so there are old stages that are in the game and playable, but only during Arcade/Story? It sounds to me like there'll be some unlockable stages this time around in CP. Maybe it'll work like the old stages do in Accent Core?

Noel fights Rachel in Kagutsuchi Port in her Arcade, then fights Nu in Hakumen's CT stage. I also know that Nu fights Mu at the Alter for her last fight.

I managed to get two goodie bags myself. The game itself isn't even faster, I don't know why people say it feels different.

holy shit, the fabled metal sonic finally came out of his hole and didn't even bother to say hi. da fuck?...

but yeah, I too didn't really notice a speed difference between CP and it's earlier installments.

Hmmm...thats weird that they have diff stages for arcade mode. Hopefully they'll be in the console version normally.

YOU PROMISED US THE INTERVIEW AN HOUR AND A HALF AGO. WHAT ARE THE SECRETS YOU ARE WITHHOLDING?!?!?

As far as I know, the only thing they universally increased the speed of in CP was hitstop (not to be confused with hitstun). Put simply, hitstop determines the amount of time in which characters are "frozen" after a move is hit/blocked. In CP, hitstop has been dramatically decreased when compared to earlier versions of Blazblue, which means a couple things. #1, that similar combos will last much less time than in CP, and #2, that blockstrings will seem much quicker because of less time to react between each move. In that regard, games will probably go by MUCH quicker in CP (or at least seem like there's less down time when you/your opponent are performing/blocking a combo/blockstring), but as far as movement and attack speed are concerned, nothing much has changed.

ok finally done with the article. just needs to go through a mod and it's good. srry for the delay, writing three post E3 articles for three sites is taxing.

It's more noticeable when your character has a lot of really high level moves.

edit:

ok. sent, for reals this time.

actually can you test if RC run is in the game like p4a?

hold 6 or 3 while doing a ground RC and you should automatically run forward.

try it with backdash or air dashes too!

Well, I tried. No one over at Aksys seems to know anything about fighting game mechanics anymore. Was told that the only guy that was really knowledgeable of the game was James, and we all know what happened to him after ArcRevo...He's in BlazBlue heaven now.

In all seriousness though, you're better off just asking in the Jp BB forums.

And... well...

First off' date=' neither Aksysgames nor Arc System Works is doing the localization this time around, but rather an undisclosed third party company. No news on whether the original English voice cast will reprise their respective roles.[/quote']

I'm scared. And also disappointed with...
