harmless kitten Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Terumi was in the Susano'o Unit because Terumi IS Susano'o. And yes, this does mean his goal is to kill his sister, the Master Unit. That's new! When did this happen? I was under the impression that he was merely the Susano'o's former owner.
Tokkan Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 That's new! When did this happen? I was under the impression that he was merely the Susano'o's former owner. Why would he call himself "Susano'o-no-mikoto" when waking up Mu if that wasn't his name?
Shazam Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 So Hazama = Jin = Hakumen? No, I don't think so... that's silly :v
Tokkan Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 So Hazama = Jin = Hakumen? No, I don't think so... that's silly :v Who said that?
Shazam Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 I mean, maybe I didn't play enough story mode or invest enough time into it, but I figured Susano'o was Hakumen right? The armor that Hazama used to have?
YoYoCheese Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Both of them are Susano'o. Terumi is Dark Susano'o. Hakumen is Light Susano'o. I'm no expert on the subject, but BB seems to have several big references \ parallels with Shinto mythology.
Moy_X7 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 I mean, maybe I didn't play enough story mode or invest enough time into it, but I figured Susano'o was Hakumen right? The armor that Hazama used to have? Susano'o is just a suit of armor. Hakumen is the name that Jin dons after getting stuffed into the suit of armor. Just because Terumi used to reside in that suit of armor (Susano'o) doesn't automatically mean that Jin is Terumi.
mAc Chaos Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 They mean as far as mythological references go.
harmless kitten Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Why would he call himself "Susano'o-no-mikoto" when waking up Mu if that wasn't his name? To reestablish the thematic references (otherwise everyone would forget about how Noel called him the Dark Susano'o in CT) between Terumi and the mythological Susano'o was my guess. I never thought that he meant it literally. On a slightly offtopic note, is there much demand for an arcade or story mode script for CS? I've been transcribing arcade and story modes and I was wondering if anybody else was interested in them.
Tokkan Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 I mean, maybe I didn't play enough story mode or invest enough time into it, but I figured Susano'o was Hakumen right? The armor that Hazama used to have? Nah, it's a bit different from that. Hakumen is Jin inside the Susano'o Unit. From what I remember, the Sankishin came from the Boundary and both the Susano'o Unit and Tsukuyomi Unit were excavated with the first gate/cauldron. The Alucards took custody of them. Terumi was the original soul of the Susano'o Unit. Also, the Master Unit has its own soul, too. The Master Unit rewrote Kokonoe's memories with a phenomena intervention for some unknown reason in Tager's BBCP arcade ending.
Chaoschao222 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Why does every weapon in BB gotta be alive, too =w=;;
harmless kitten Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Also, the Master Unit has its own soul, too. The Master Unit rewrote Kokonoe's memories with a phenomena intervention for some unknown reason in Tager's BBCP arcade ending. what the balls MORIIIIIIIIIII Well, at least Amaterasu isn't just sitting in the Boundary twiddling its thumbs while Terumi plots its destruction. @Chaoschao22: Ragna's Blood-scythe doesn't have a soul! Not yet anyway.
Orihalcon Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Terumi was in the Susano'o Unit because Terumi IS Susano'o. And yes, this does mean his goal is to kill his sister, the Master Unit. That is one helluva lie.
Chaoschao222 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 @Chaoschao222: Ragna's Blood-scythe doesn't have a soul! Not yet anyway. At this point, I won't be surprised if Blood-Scythe turns out to be the first Ragna :P
Moy_X7 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Since we're talking about weapons and stuff, I have a question regarding the Nox. If I remember correctly, the Nox are made by sacrificing a bunch of human souls and creating a "mini-Black Beast" which is then compressed and used as the core for the Nox. Is that right so far?
Tokkan Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 If I remember correctly, the Nox are made by sacrificing a bunch of human souls and creating a "mini-Black Beast" which is then compressed and used as the core for the Nox. Is that right so far? Yes, but this was only done once. To make Take-Mikazuchi. Take-Mikazuchi's core was then divided in 2, and the other half was divided into 8 to be used as the cores for the other Nox.
mAc Chaos Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 No wonder that thing looks like a Black Beast.
SolxBaiken Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Man it just got real up in here. Hazama is just made his sis won't let him act up
Chaoschao222 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Also, do Nox's have personalities? Nirvana clearly does, what with her amazing jokes and whatnot, but is that just due to Ada? They seem to have memories and sentience to a degree (Bolverk chose Noel, right?), and Take-Mikazuchi's all rawr, furthering its sense of being alive. But it seems weird that as things created by tons of souls that each Nox seems to have a singular goal/effect/trait in regards to its owner, at least the young owners, anyways.
mAc Chaos Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Well, Jin's sword seems to have a kind of personality... or at least a way of influencing Jin.
Agni Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Terumi was in the Susano'o Unit because Terumi IS Susano'o. And yes, this does mean his goal is to kill his sister, the Master Unit. o_O Could you please go into detail? Wut. Why. When Wait what the balls? The BB storyline in a nutshell.
Moy_X7 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 (edited) Oh, no wonder Take-Mikazuchi turned out to be a weapon of mass destruction that could only be stopped by one of the original units (Tsukuyomi). Let's see... 1. Take-Mikazuchi 2. Yukianesa 3. Bolverk 4. Nirvana 5. Musashi 6. Ookami 7. Muchourin 8. Ouroboros 9. Rettenjou 10. Murakumo So how were the Murakumo made again? I know that the Murakumo are Nox that fuse with the Prime Field Devices that have come back from the Boundary after growing a soul to become these incredibly powerful weapons. Furthermore, why were so many Nox created when only 4 of them were used by the Six Heroes? Were there other unsung heroes who greatly contributed to the Black Beast's downfall (like Celica with her Nirvana)? We don't even know who the previous owners of Bolverk and Yukianesa were. Surf Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Furthermore, why were so many Nox created when only 5 of them were used by the Six Heroes? Were there other unsung heroes who greatly contributed to the Black Beast's downfall (like Celica with her Nirvana?). We don't even know who the previous owners of Bolverk and Yukianesa were. Or Rettenjou for that matter. But Im guessing the closest thing to an earlier owner is Tenjo I suppose. Since he gave it to Bang. Or maybe it was just given to the Ikaruga nation
mAc Chaos Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 I figured they gave them to the early founders of the NOL.
Chaoschao222 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 I always figured it was something like that too, seeing as how they have control over the largest, seemingly most destructive one.
